@GrazzetMTG i actually put Hazel into the 99 and I used Camellia, the Seedmiser as the commander for the deck. But love your ideas so I will try out for idea since it is always nice.

If the deck didn’t skyrocket it’s price to 90$ CAD, I would of bought it and upgraded it since this guide is super helpful. Nice video as always,keep up the good work

Yeah... Its seems that these days every time the precons come out one of them is always "scalped"... Honestly makes me miss when WotC used to due MSRP for these.... But regardless, happy to hear you enjoyed the build!

Genuinely surprised (and glad) most of your upgrades were what i also had in mind. Very tempted to use chatterfang as my commander instead and add pitiless plunderer for the infinite combo

Glad you enjoyed the build and happy to hear we had similar idea's on where to take this upgrade! Honestly, swapping out Chatterfang for the face of the deck would be just fine even if you make no other changes, though the deck would indeed benefit from Pitiless Plunderer and other on death payoffs since Chatterfang decks do tend to go in a more aristocrats direction.

Warren soultrader is another infinite combo enabler. I played it after casting chatterstorm for 1 squirrel and with moldervine reclamation, I was able to combo out and find a zulaport to drain the table.

As an owner of the precon, I agree with your anti-squirrel assessment. I might have gone too heavy on the special copy producers and aristocrat stuff in my list. I will try a self-mill/forage/GY centric version next. Hopefully someone has already come up with that list! Two omissions I noticed IMO is Marioneete Apprentice and Springheart Nantuko. Apprentice is nice since she also generates a token ON CURVE with Hazel. This is one reason I do not like Tendershoot Dryad,but maybe it has such an absurd power level that it doesn’t matter. Springheart Nantuko is nice because it is also create tokens on curve or it can be used as a special copy effect. I cut Tendershoot Dryad to make room for it but this could be a mistake and both warrant a slot in the deck. I strived to make the list as creature centric as possible, STE for a mana rock for example, so that I can take advantage of special copy effects.

Happy to hear that you agree with me on the squirrel aspect of the deck - since I honestly believe folks who try and build around Hazel this way are both doing her a disservice and missing out on better commanders who do it better (both of which are in this precon). I do agree that Marionet Apprentice would be very good in this build as another aristocrats/token matters piece, but I just couldn't find something to cut while remaining within budget. Still, if you don't mind going slightly above the #35 budget we stuck to here, I would recommend cutting one of the non-token generating squirrel support pieces for her if you want to get just a bit more burn our of our tokens.

This percon is one of my favorites wotc has ever made for the soul fact that it can swap the face commander out for around 3 other legendary creatures and it will run just as good if not better.

Luckily was able to get one of these for retail and will definitely be upgrading it with this when I get the chance. Especially because I built the Coram Undertaker deck you made and was able to win the first game I used it. I’m also going to shoot my shot and ask if it’s possible you can make a “Deadpool” deck or even give a good commander that best fits him. I’ve honestly tried my best to work one but the commanders I’ve tried just don’t have the feel in action. The best I could think of is a “Deadpool and Wolverine” deck with a Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder and Anara, Wolvid Familiar as the commanders.

Another great build video. Im really torn on whether to build this as a Squirrel Aristocrats or this kind of general Token based deck, but regardless this has some great ideas Im definitely going to explore

Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, you could go either way here - though I personally think that a Squirrel/Aristocrats build would be a better fit with Chatterfang at the helm rather than Hazel.

I'm trying to take this deck and make it more Aristocrats with Camellia as the commander because I love her synergy with Ygra, but... Idk if it's any good 😂
