How can we mitigate the problem of time delay in RF layout for LO and IF if they are travelling different electrical length to mixer?

I am new to this concept. I have few queries here: 1) I just want to understand the idea of doing RF LO Phase sync in these type of system. 2) If the two trans-receiver internal LO is not phase sync then what will be the problem in the system like this 3) If the reference clock which is I/P to xceiver is having some Hz deviation then what will be the impact in the sytem and how will it constitute RF LO DeSync ?
