Tried these on today. The power tape was jamming the right lace down on to the top of my foot so hard it started hurting within seconds. Not for me.

The last models have a serious sole separation issue not even 2 months and mine started to separate hopefully these address that problem

Same here, and I play always on a natural grass pitch. Soleplate on Puma Future Z 1.4 started to separate after third training session. From fit and comfort they are all great but the quality is very poor.

Are you talking about the FG or AG version? And are you using the FG on ag pitches? I've just got mine and getting a feel of how they are before I decide to keep them.

I think the PWR tape will be a good addition. I found on previous futures as I wore them a lot the stretchy band would really loosen up too much and not give me as good of a wrapped sensation as they did out of box

Z1.4 felt much better than the version after. I also had to go down half size on the latter as they felt longer in toebox, but lockdown nowhere near as good as z1.4. Haven’t gotten to future 7 yet.

Pretty well every Future model since 1.3 has maintained a similar thickness and slightly padded feel to the upper. Not exactly the same, but close.

Are the future 7 ultimate easy to wear especially with high bridge feet? Don't have any near puma store near me to try them on. (edit, I tried the Adidas Predator Accuracy.1 and my foot doesn't even go inside the shoes due to the knit not stretching enough and having a high bridge on my feet)

They’re similar in some ways, but these are softer and have more of a padded feel. The Nike Phantom GX 2 Pro would be the closer boot in terms of feeling like the original GT 👍

The Puma logo is so aesthetically unpleasant in my opinion, so as long as that’s subtle I’m all good. Also, these still have that ugly ‘Future’ writing but at least that’s on a dark upper which makes it less visible
