I also had the same lat pain training the front lever and the best help for my has been using foam roller and tennis ball to auto massage the whole back and the specific point of pain, usually every night before going to sleep )

Thanks for the advice! I'm gonna give it a shot ) Now I was doing a 15s isometric contraction on the floor while holding a stick and it also works well

@@AdrianOnBars I started doing tennis ball massage about every night before sleeping and it released my lat pains in about 10 days. Now I keep doing it every 2-3 days to prevent it . It also helps in relax and better sleeping )

Nice work. Pavel states in his naked warrior book to start with 1-2 sets a day for several weeks. Then add a set every other day for a week. The idea is patience with gtg. 1 heavy set a day will do the trick at first. Im a PT and use this alot with clients to great effect, hope this helps.

Thanks! This makes lots of sense, Pavel is a legend

@@AdrianOnBars Hola Adrián! Padrísimo que me contestaste!! Me encantan tus videos!

Great effort. Can you do the full front lever yet? I’m still training for it. Very difficult. From straddle to full front lever is a long way

@AdrianOnBars5 жыл бұрын

Adrian keep up the good work my man! You’re an inspiration and the only youtuber I know that IS LEARNING while uploading videos (like most of us here) and not just being reflective re: skills you mastered years ago. We need more youtubers like you

I'm more or less at your starting level and currently training 3x week MU, push up dips pull up front lever. I'm thinking about GTG my FL but does this mean I can still train 3x week my Dips push up and MU ?
@AdrianOnBars5 жыл бұрын
it depends on the intensity and volume of the GTG, if you stay on the lower end as I did I would say yes. You can always try and stop if you start feeling too sore and stressed out
