Great 1.9 tires for the Traxxas trx4 f150 tested at a cold and snowy Crawler County

Awsome video! Yes, Traxxas did make this a great platform. At some point, I would still like Traxxas to come out with a straight axle. However, I do like mine, first Bronco, Sport Kit, and the 2 6x6s I have.

I like the lowered look, more scale looking and the wheels look good too. I’m going to try and get my high trail out but we got almost 8” of snow so may not go as good. Good run, great video!

Awesome video Jason, those tires seem to work great on the snowy rocks. Traxxas made an amazing truck, my K5 high trail has been ultra reliable and still on stock electronics it has never let me down yet. Hope you have a great week and i cant wait to see the tracks video

@WoodsUnknown people can say what they want about traxxas and how old the platform is but dang it's a solid truck! cant really blame them. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

If you get the chance get the fusion pro or SE motor… 2nd gear is INCREDIBLE for clearing treads compared to stock

Those wheels definitely fit the look with that setup. I either need to get another high trail or try to find a marketplace trade deal, that F150 body is at the top of my favorites list… it’s a dang shame they are like $150 or something from Traxxas. Still haven’t seen a single snowflake down here yet! It’s bumming me out, I want that snow! lol.

@DRZ-RC traxxas body's are crazy expensive. Carisma f150 looks pretty good too. Not sure if you can get it cheaper but my guess is it is. How much did you get. Think we got about 4 or 5

@ I’m guessing we probably got 6 on average, but the drifts are real deep! I didn’t even stand a chance at driving my scx6 up to the pit, without having to help it along a good part of the way.

My bronco did so dang good in like 6 inches of snow up closer to Lake Erie. Might upload a little clip of my time but the ENTIRE trail was the obstacle. The only way we made it through was a lot of tire speed and Baja pro x tires. High gear and a fusion pro clears the tire treads really well and it just PLOWS through!

@@hellorc7678I’d just keep them on hand as dedicated dirt/mud/snow tires…. I happen to crawl in slick loose conditions a lot so I like them but I’d get something like ruptures or megalithics for rocks. The fusion pro motor is incredible with them though the treads act like saw blades in the snow. Always clear tread and tons of bite

Wow :) super impressive :) seems the tyres are still pretty soft eventhough the snow and cold weather :) When you did a 1.9" conversion what wheelbase do you have now? Thanks for a super cool video

@prophetate wheel base is a little shy of 13 and one quarter inch. About 335mm. Thank you for the comment 👍

Hey Jason did you set your trx4 outside to adapt to the cold to keep the snow from sticking to the tires because the axial tires worked really well in the slippery snow surfaces. Love the channel Jason Liz and Wyatt
