I love that you show the smaller farmers and older (not old, necessarily, but not the latest generation) machinery on your channel. I come from a small/mid-sized family farm in western NY, and I've been enjoying seeing videos of farms with comparable equipment to what I see in my area. All the videos that other people put out of the newest, most massive equipment at work in the Midwest (class 7/8/9 combines, 40ft heads and implements, etc.) just don't interest me as much, because that feels like such a different world than what I'm used to. This is much more like it.

I enjoy talking with the farmers that I get to meet and learn more from them-see their passion. Thanks for watching.

I guess there is a reason, but why leave unload auger out all the time?

There was nothing to hit it on. When close to buildings and when taking off the ends it is slid back out of the way.

We had a 9500 that we ran an 8 row head in 240 bu corn...we didn't have a hopper topper so we were full every 120 seconds. You have to reach down to pull out the auger on this machine. So just leave it out.

@@tomklopfenstein2997 nice comfortable speed. I've taken 200 18% corn at 4 to 4.5 with my L2 but then you hit a spot that goes to 250 but and then my visual tailing fill with corn so I gotta pull back. 3 mph is what usually do now so I don't worry.
