Robert, I am happy to see you and your family fled Cuba after Castro took a different view of where your people should be! However, I have been to Little Havana neighborhood, I love the people, love the food, and was in the Domino Park! I loved my visit to Little Miami, and to see your Cuban Heritage which is also part of our US Heritage! Just saying how I love my Cuban friends from the Florida area! We all have cussins from Miami, or from Havana, Cuba!

Thank you. I worked on an environmental project just outside Coral Gables many years ago. A local worker introduced me to Cuban coffee. That tiny drink made my head spin around. Overall I enjoyed my time in your community. The people I met were friendly and helped me experience the Miami life. I recommend any of your followers that have never been there, make it one of their items to do on their list.

1:03:23 That's the Cardozo Hotel, featured in the movie "There's Something About Mary". I stayed there in 2021 when all of Ocean Drive was closed to traffic. Many of the restaurants had tables and chairs out in front, onto the street.

Once upon a time, years ago, I was an RN doing home visits….visiting the poor old folks who lived in the once “old” Miami strip hotels. Cramped and gathered together in simply one or 2 rooms in some awful living conditions. Miami has come a long long way since then ROBERT.

Been watching you since 2017 from living in the NW panhandle of Fla to watching your vids and moving to the keys from Key Largo to Key West.... I lived in Fla since 1995 and saw Miami and the Keys for the first time in 2017 after watching your vids. You were a vital part of my healing. From watching your vids in my death bed to being on the road from one end of Fla to the other now a missionary, humanitarian in Mexico. No limits. The sky is not the limit. Thank you. My old hometown, but my passion mostly was escaping to the pre cruise ship Keys / Everglades!!! OMG Calle Ocho ha ha and downtown Miami/Miami Beach , Key Biscayne!!! You need to go to The Everglades Alligator Farm , and go on an airboat ride 😉 Safe travels : ) PS - Iguanas were never running wild in SoFlo when I lived there - CRAZY!!?!?!??! 🤔

Having grown up in the Gables, I have to say that I thoroughly loved your tour of my former beautiful home. I remember going with my friends to South Beach before it was cool. Eating fresh bagels directly from the oven in a little bakery in South Beach! I was amazed with many of the new places that didn't exist when I lived there. Looking very forward to your Coconut Grove video and maybe more of the Gables and South Miami. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
