Took my test today and failed. Please fellas if you’re appetizing a stop sign, make sure the vehicle comes to a complete stop. That means the speedometer must go back to 0. The proceed. Keep hands on the wheel at all times. Trust me it’s easy to do but we tend to forget especially when we feel intimidated by the examiner. I’m retesting in a week. Wish me luck.

I failed my first test and then redid it and passed! My advice to people taking the drivers test is REALLY pay attention to uncontrolled interceptions! You must slow down and check traffic! Practice your car buttons, Parking up and down hill, Parallel parking, Y/3 point turns, Backing up straight 100 feet, and using blinkers, Don't forget to come to a full stop at stop signs, and Watch your speed! I nearly failed the second time for going 29 in a 25, 1 more mile more an hour and I would have failed! Good luck!

Bruh, my examiner didn't say jack to me. She was angry at me throughout the entire duration of the test then gave me a sticker at the end. I asked if I passed, and she said: "What do you think the stickers for?" then left

@@chocoboasylum I assume she had a bad day. She was also extremely vague, and the testing area was in a parking lot, not the streets. A few of the turns were very unclear as there were no markings and the cones were about 15 feet apart from each other to signify road. She would also say to turn about a second before the turn needed to occur. I passed one turn since I had no idea where to go, and she started arguing with me how if this was a residential area, I could've caused an accident. I talked back to her which may have been the reason I didn't fail right then and there when she realized her wrong. Test was a more back and forth of mini arguments. The parallel parking area was also just between 2 cones. I had to park 6 inches next to a designated white line, which, let me tell you, I honestly couldn't see it since it was extremely faded, and there was no curb of reference. I parked out of pure memory and motor skills which ended up working out thankfully as I believe most other students failed that day. Essentially that's how the test went. My second attempt. I failed my first attempt cause I borrowed my cousin's car, and the idiot forgot to put the car registration in the glove compartment. I was not about to fail that second time since I had to wait 3 months to get a testing slot.

Since like you had a difficult examiner who wanted you to fail for the start. I know the examiners have bad day at the dmv, but they still have to keep it professional. They should not take it on those who want to pass, which is unfair on their end. I am glad you rose above the occasion though so congratulations to you. God Bless.

I took my test yesterday... well let me tell ya! I did so horrible with my parking....I had 18 points. Most of them was from backing up into a spot. Don’t let your nerves get to you guys! Also, don’t keep track of how many points you think you get because I did that and once I reached 6 in my head, I mentally just gave up.

Parking forward- I guess I wasn’t close enough so a point there. Backing up into a parking spot I ran cones over and I thought for some reason that once I hit a cone I fail my test so I got frustrated and gave up and kept going back and forth and hitting cones until I got into a parking spot. Then it was parallel parking and I got four wrong on that. Most of my points were from the backing up. I would have done way better but I gave up on myself and let my nerves get the best of me. The day after I did my test. I was able to do the parking just fine when I was practicing.

Thanks for posting this. My test in Madison was just like this and I passed on my first try. However, the guy who gave my test was very intense and unfriendly. So if you're watching this don't count on the person being this chill because it caught me off guard and I made a couple little mistakes early on because it. But I still passed and this video helped a lot.

Taking my test next Tuesday, here in Wisconsin. I’m older, I turned in my license due to a health condition that has improved enough I can drive again. Have a perfect 16 year driving record. I missed the cut off to renew my license by a year. Had to take the written test for my permit passed on first try. It’s really come back to me. Still a bit nervous because I need to pass this test due to health issues with my mom. Any support and prayers appreciated. Update, I passed! Only got one point. Like the kid in the video I didn’t use my turn signal when exiting the roundabout. Thanks for the Wisconsin DMV video. Advice, get out and drive as much as you can. Learn to watch the traffic, your speed, and for sure check your blind spots!!!

the first time i took my road test I used my uncle’s car that I only get to practice a night before. When we got in there the instructor asked me to roll the window down and my stupid ass didn’t do a pre trip on that car so I didn’t know where the heck the window button was so I told him it was broken I can’t use it then he told okay. he checked if my signal lights are working the left signal light was broken so the road test was cancelled. Tip *do a pre trip on that car you’re gonna use* lmaoo I was crying my ass off when I got home

I take my test tmrw and i’m only a little nervous but i keep the thought that it is just any other drive. also the biggest tip i can pass on, ask a friend about the test if you can, specifically the route that you take during the test, and then go practice that route over and over again, including doing all of the maneuvers like backing up next to a curb(you can usually find where the instructors have the people taking the test do this maneuver if you look for tire marks next to the curb on the test route) and parallel parking as usually the cones are still set up after hours. that’s what i did and it help reduce my stress by a lot!! anyways good luck y’all got this!

@@blakeleystormfeather6962 Im pretty sure it depends on your examiner and how strict they are, at one point in my test I know i was probably close to 5 over the speed limit and my examiner either didn't notice or didn't care, but I'm also pretty sure that one over is not gonna have any effect, usually just excessive speeding, one tip i can give is to always shoot for about 3-5mph under the speed limit to just make sure that you don't go over, but not too far under like 10mph bc that could be seen as impeding traffic and would be a deduction, and if you are worried about getting tailgated or you feel bad for the person behind you for going "slow" even if you are going the speed limit, just keep the mindset that they can pass you if it really mattered to them. @Babiisosa Sorry, forgot to make an update but I passed! With no errors as well which was quite surprising. My biggest tip is to just stay calm; as soon as you can antsy and nervous, your driving becomes jerky and shaky, and you make pointless mistakes. I tried to pretend it was just another driving lesson with a family member rather then an actual test. My test consisted of doing some left/right turns, lane changes, parallel parking, downhill/uphill parking, and only lasted about 20 minutes.

@@sorryimlucia You're welcome! It's a big subdivision. Watch the speed limit. It's 25 if you turn right by the daycare (brown building by Landmark) I was 4 MPH over as I turned. Fortunately I saw the sign and slowed down immediately. Pulling out of the DMV is a bit tricky. Traffic comes at you fast, remember to yield.

I failed my first test too. The guy didn't like the sound of my transmission shifting, so failed me. That's literally the reason. But the next time the examiner was kind and had no problem with it so I guess it all comes down to the examiner really. That was 30 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Man, this looked like the easiest road test..!! And this test seemed shorter than the ones here.. (about 30 mins..) Where I live (and the geographical area of the testing branch here in Canada), I got cited for going TOO SLOW.. Wtf.. But it also wasn't too slow to me.. 45km/h in a 50km/h zone or about 28 mp/h in a 31mp/h zone..

I went into the Bmv while i was watching this video and I passed my third time with a clean sheet (0 points) It really feels good and after u pass when u think about it. It’s really easy but tension and concern make u do all those mistakes After I failed twice my resolve in the third time was “ I will drive normally. Can someone please help me out with this question. I took my test today and I had a stop sign, ahead of me was a really big dip I drove through 5 mph to not hit the bottom of the car and I resumed normal speed which was 25mph once I passed the dip . The instructor automatically failed me is that right ? If I drove any faster I would have hit the bottom of the car .

Depending on the traffic and conditions usually it is expected to be within 10-15 mph. The reason for this is the instructor may have thought that you were slowing down traffic or lacked confidence you proceeded with caution but these are general inferences that can be made based on the introductory attitude (meaning their actions). In your case you were failed and I concur with your idea that it was an unnecessary fail but they hold the upper hand with their authority. My driving instructor passed on to me golden pieces of advice that can be applied to all errors during the test: simply, whenever appropriate, drive at or near the speed limit and demonstrate your ability to navigate around traffic and confidence (this is the golden egg) as you drive. My inference based on your fail was that if your car was a sedan then what you could do is slow down way before to 20 and then five feet away from the dip apply slight but firm pressure to the brakes to slow down to 15 mph and enter the dip at an angle. By entering the dip at a slight angle allows the underbelly of the car to not scrap the pavement. I learned this from my driving instructor. Opposed to if you were handling an SUV then there would be no reason whatsoever unless the conditions and traffic were impeding you from going 15 mph on a dip in a 25 or 30 speed limit.
