Taeyang is part of Big Bang, one of the biggest groups in kpop. Taeyang is in his mid 30's and doesn't age whatsoever and still has that IT voice and dancing. Jimin had said on a show a long time ago when BTS was still pretty new that his ideal collab would be Taeyang. Crazy to think it came full circle! Also, this is Taeyang's song and Jimin is featuring in it so the spotlight is going to be more on Taeyang..lol. Taeyang is also the senior artist compared to BTS so it makes sense. I think they gave plenty of shine to Jimin! I'm an Army, but every time BTS is part of someone's collab, everyone treats it as BTS' and don't really give a lot of credit to the original artist.

Also can we take a second to appreciate Jimin's growth vocally. This man has always delivered but it's always great to see growth in an artist because that means they care about their craft. I've been sensing this since BE dropped. Dude, Taeyang could easily overshadowed Jimin, took all the high notes, not let him wear eye catching color, did not add those effects in his parts (where it travels from one side of your ear to the other then back to the center in some parts), etc. But he didn't. Because in all his collaborations, he always make sure to highlight the person he's collaborating with and show their strengths. This guy was able to captivate millions ALONE in his earlier solo songs and was able to hold a world tour ALONE. He's the one that's holding back.

I think this was perfect and I was thrilled to see Jimin get equal time in the video to do his thing, yet he still was respectful to Taeyang - as it’s his song after all! I loved that he showed off his lower register - we heard a little different tone to his voice in a couple of places. But we still got a little dose of his signature high notes at the end! I feel like this is a fantastic prelude to Jimin’s solo album and he’s pulling out the big guns on that one! Congrats to Taeyang, who I don’t know but am interested to hear more from him now too! Taeyang- exceptional and award winning artist in his own right. Eyes nose lips is a truly great song that wing him many awards ( swept all the major awards in 2014 with that song and was the first to do so). I only say this for those thinking Jimin( who I adore more than any of the K-pop artists) carried it. It was great because they Bith made this song. And Bigbang is still together- they had a comeback 5-6 months ago. Unfortunately it wasn’t all of the members. T.O.P. is said to participate when it’s possible and Seungri is still in prison.

They both complimented each other very well. Taeyang is just boss to me! He embodies music and is 100% confident with his art. Been told taeyang is jimins idol so I’m guessing it’s intimating working with your idol and inspiration on your very first solo Taeyang is OG when it comes to dancing vocals and charisma. He isn’t overrated nor underrated he is completely perfectly rated and probably one of the most humble idols especially of his generation. A true legend of K-pop.

I absolutely love this collaboration!! They both are great dancers and showed their individual styles while doing the same choreo. I can't believe you guys didn't notice the Michael Jackson tone in Jimin's voice 😍😍😍😍 They definitely made a great choice putting Taeyang and Jimin together ?! Jimin wasn't trying to outshine Taeyang because it's his song and Jimin is just that type of person. He doesn't even completely let go when performing with his members.
