I fell off my bike on November 9th 2016 and broke my left wrist. I went to alfred A and E. I said I'm here because my left wrist is broken and I need a doctor to look at it. They took scans of my hands, ribs, and head because the fall was so bad, I had also very minor injuries. An emergency physician came to me and said no broken bones. I was good to go. About 2 weeks later the same emergency physician called me on my phone and said he and the other radiologist had noticed a slight defect in my left wrist and I should see a GP. I went to see a GP, He wrote me a cert to get some scans done. When I got the scans it showed a clear fracture of the triquetrium. The GP was appalled and said go back there and make sure they look at you. I went back to alfred and the treated it as non urgent and booked an out patient appointment for me, Now I have a non union of the bone and I'm in constant pain and have limited use of left hand. Ive reached out to patient liaison but the tell me the physician does not want to talk with me.. And I should let it go. I would love to let it go but I can't if it affects me everyday
