Great Egret catching Mice and Lizards

This is a video of a Great Egret hunting for small prey. I tried to make it as close to reality as possible and show the bird pretty much as it hunted.

Wow - that Vermilion Flycatcher was a stunner! Great up-close views in here of the prey going down. Love it!

I seen him and a female there today in the same trees. Even the female Vermillion is gorgeous but not as colorful.

That’s funny. I don’t know if it’s this guy but last year I videoed a Great Blue Heron that had a Great Egret following it around like a puppy dog.
