What is that shaft burgman is playing with
@justinbryson55484 жыл бұрын
It is a Kielwood shaft. Low Deflection shaft, made by Pat Diveney. Lomax may have made it though, but I think it is a Diveney Kielwood shaft.

Great match I just had to turn the volume off so I didn't have to hear Jeremy never stop taking about what a player could do should do and everything in between.Other sports commentary is that way they mainly comment on what they see happen or whats happening and thats much better than tring to analyze 3 different ways they can execute a shot and then they end up doing something els. Most people that watch pool know what going and just want to watch.

I personally love his commentary.

To each their own, I also LOVE his commentary. He's taught me a TON about leaves. I'm starting to find the right plan now because of him. NOW, I need to learn to how to execute the plan, Lolz. I think you're in a small minority, bud. I see at least nine positive comments for every negative about his commentary.

@@pedroarellano4266 My point is he way over does it, especially One pocket. Like I also said I can just mute him. I'm already at a high level and I really don't like even watching One Pocket unless it's 2 super high level players. I can watch and learn I don't need Mr. Jones constantly talking about 5 different ways the players can shoot. I do like commentary just not his style.

Yeah, I would have never even thought to try to make it with lower inside English. I would have played that shot with high left English. Very difficult shot, and really amazed at how he made it, to get shape on the 9. Shape for that shot from the 7 to the 8, with that much confidence shows how great of a player he is too. That was amazing.
@TheCaramrod244 жыл бұрын
Sorry I'm a young pool player, can anyone explain why this shot was so difficult? Seems like a low ball with a touch of right does it.
@5153flash4 жыл бұрын
@@TheCaramrod24 I agree with you,that shot was not all that difficult.
@christopherwelsh70084 жыл бұрын
@@TheCaramrod24 If the 8 ball is not frozen to the rail, you would be correct; hit the cueball around 5:00. The difficulty using that same hit on the cueball increases enormously when the 8 is touching the rail. if the cueball hits the 8 even slightly before the rail, the 8 will go into the rail and come off, missing the pocket. If you hit rail and ball simultaneously, the spin the right spin will throw the 8 off the rail, possibly enough to wobble out of the pocket. If you hit the rail before the 8, then the cue loses a lot of momentum as it "skids the rail", and the 8 may not even make it to the pocket. The margin for error is minute using any outside spin. I think Justin Bryson needs to take a closer look, although what he said about low inside spin would be an option. It looks like the player uses straight "draw" on the cue, where most of us need some "inside" spin to kick the ball down the rail. (Player preference?) Try it a few times at this angle. It is certainly not a hanger. A really great shot to with the match

Glad finally a cue maker giant has stepped into the kielwood territory. That Phoenix shaft looks solid and being an OB the deflection has to be minimal. Love that smokey tone that wood has
@greeneyeddevil14 жыл бұрын
TheDjentGuy what are you referring to?
@52alkom4 жыл бұрын
@@greeneyeddevil1 not much into cues I imagine? Bergman used to use a kielwood shaft from a custom cue maker,Pat diveney. They are hard to find, and can be quite expensive. Now he is using the new OB cues Phoenix shaft, which js a kielwood shaft ( maple put through a heating process. It's stiffer, drier and get's that kind of maroon tone) and they retail at $250. Ob being a production cue maker, not custom, these shafts will get more recognition and widespread.

I never noticed James untill one weekend I come in. And James is getting ready to play Gary Abood. And right beside me was Gary's butt buddy Clint Freeman. ( I dont like either one of em) So I wind up taking James in a race to 7 on a bar table spotting Gary 3 games. So James had to win by 3. I didnt have to sweat it cause James won 7-2. And listen man..Gary Abood is not anywhere near the best player in the world. I actually think I can beat him but he is a pro level player. Or a very strong Amateur pro caliber. Especially on a bar box. There are guys that are 9ft table players. And then there are bar box players. Guys like Corey deuel. Robb Saez Shane Mcminn These guys are all bar box specialists Where as guys like Dennis Orcollo is a 9ft table player. Dennis dont play as well to me on a small table. Anyway..Gary is a bar box guy. So to run him over like that was pretty impressive to me. I dont think Gary plays as good as Shane or Robb Saez. And Corey plays better than any of em by a margin. Imo. But I grew up watching Gary Abood. Hes about 10 yrs older than me and for many years he was the best player I ever knew. But.. then I grew up. Like I said I think I can beat him now. Not that hes a joke but I dont think he plays as good now as he did 20 years ago. He got married had a kid..his game went to shit. He cant play a radio compared to then. Me? I did not get married. I do not have kids. And my Game is on God mode right about now. I just need some money. Anyway I started watching James since that day. I like James hes a monster. Hes not the best but hes climbin. I hit some balls with him and Roberto Gomez..we had fun man. I'm not too far off. But Im no spring chicken anymore. Time is not on my side.
