It’s very close to being a unisex fragrance. If you have an oily body chemistry, it makes for an excellent warm weather fragrance for a man because it’s light and fresh. It’s definitely a spring/summer product. It lasts. I couldn’t even wash it off my skin and not still smell it. I agree it doesn’t project, but I like subtle scents that when people get close, they catch the scent and want to know what it is. It’s not a scent that gets into the room before you do. I thought his analysis was pretty spot on.

Had this for about 9 months now. I like to compare it with the Hermes Jardin line. Think Sur le nil or sur le toit without the blast of fruit up top. Very clean, fresh and natural greenness.

I like Aqua Essenziale Colonia SF Clean , fresh , with a woody , citrus dry down and lasts along time. This Lagerfeld is worth a blind Buy!!

I can't believe I'm saying this but a solid cheapie vetiver scent is David Beckam Instinct. I just received it today and I have to say it smells really good. It has similarities to Dior's Eau Savauge. $13 bucks for a 2.5 oz bottle is a steal in my opinion. I also received Radiant Bergamot today and I have to say Chad your review on it was spot on. I really like it.

I have one botle, because that is "Vetiver" scent, and with disapointing in my eyes, I expected so more must admit. No matter that is vetiver scent, I don't buy KL again, like GUERLAIN scents on vetiver base, and I am use this after my gym training until i make botle empty! My rating 01 to 10 is -3, and you are saying everything what is important, that is complete enough for me Ash! Thanks for this video!

I have tried it in a small perfume shop in Paris, and it didn't last on me. Plus, their price tag was 80 eur. No way is it worth almost 100 bucks. Declaration essence does a much better job.

Totally agree that this is a real gem considering it's price. It is better than another cheapie Declaration wannabe Dupont Pour Homme. Another one that is similar but way more longer lasting even on my skin is Tous 1920. Do check it out in case you haven't yet. Thanks, bro!

Ashton, excellent review as usual, after seeing Max review I wanted to pick up a bottle but after reading some reviews on fragrantica I decided no to, even though longevity it's not an issue because you can carry a decant and reapply any time for me projection it is, if the fragrance doesn't project for at least 1 hours it's not worth my money.

Awesome video...for the price!....I think I’ll blind buy it!....ok here is a goofy suggestion for a summer BLEND....Trust me this is a first blend ever!.....Ok I like Tommy Bahama St. Bart’s but the performance is bad...FYI it’s a margarita scent in a bottle. Someone tried to blend it with Nautica Voyage..2:1 respectively..ie more St Bart’s....it’s awesome!....OK I like summer scents. I’m calling this...”Sailing to Margaritaville “...very nice!...Try it!

I would say Lagerfeld is elegant. Like he was as a person, Karl Lagerfeld was very elegant and very nice as a person. Also his clothes are elegant, I would use this word to discribe him, but its only my opinion..

I've tested this fragrance, cannot recommend this at all. The more I smell it, the more it gets nauseating. Perry ellis 360 Red, nautica voyage and ferregamo f black are just so so much better than this.
