Great Guitar Build Off 2021 - Episode 6 - Demo & Compilation | Building a Great Guitar from Scratch

In this final episode of my Great Guitar Build-Off 2021 series I invited a guest player to demo the guitar while we watch a compilation of the entire Guitar Build.
Unquendor Guitars Artist Thijs de Jong joined me in my office to demo the guitar.
We recorded the guitar with the minimum amount of effects and for the most part did little to no post processing.
I think I have a lot to learn about recording guitars and basic sound engineering.

So far this is easily my favorite this year. I just love the inlaid, carved top. The instrument looks and sounds every bit as good as I thought it would while watching the build; it was easy to tell pretty early in the video series that it was going to be a real beauty. Hi Jimmy. Yes she does need a name doesn't she? I'm always struggling to name my guitars. The model is called "Nessa" after a female character from the Tolkien books. I like to name my guitars in the Fantasy books/Tolkien theme. So if anyone has any suggestions I will take it into serious consideration.
