Great Hike! I Climbed 1593m In 3 Hours!

I visited Central Switzerland to walk up some mountains known for their fantastic views. @Klewenalp was on my to do list. Setting off from the banks of Lake Lucerne, walking along the well marked trail from the village of Beckenried just outside the City of Lucerne. After 1000 metres the meandering trail gradually becomes increasingly steep, and the walk becomes more of a scramble. At the top you are rewarded with views of Lake Lucerne, Mount Rigi and Higher snow covered Swiss Alps which mark the border between Switzerland and Italy.
