Great moments from Bathurst - 2L SuperTourers 1997part 2

Here is the first of two of the Super Touring Bathurst races i have.
This one is the 1997 race featuring Super Touring drivers from all around the world.
Just under 90mins long, the highlights and pre-race buildup before, any exciting race that any Touring Car fan would love to see, fans of Bathurst track, and just pure great close racing anyway!!! Commentary also comes from Murray Walker too!

I believe this is the race, or at least the meeting, where Jason Plato set the Super 2000 touring car record around Bathurst that still stands today. Those Williams Lagunas were very fast but by God they were complicated and super expensive to run...

13:49 - Well, that's the worst pitstop I've seen in a very long time. Unfortunate positioning, followed by blind panic (no steering wheel, dragging some wires etc)
