Game developers haven't even caught up with the PS5 hardware. Games don't really take advantage of all the hardware can do. Realistically game developers are probably 5 years away from maxing out the PS5 hardware.

I’m not sure that is fact, I think some of the games coming are already maxing the ps5 pro. They have always been capable of that because a lot of the games are designed for the pc which demands way more than the ps5 can give.

@@ragetobe the idea of maxxing out isnt really important. an unoptimized game will max out the console but still doesnt take full advantage of the hardware as it isnt optimized. how many ps5 exclusives are there? also compare any playstation's first 3 years of their games vs the last 3 years. its clear that later life games take full advantage of what a system can do. the ps5 hasnt had that time to mature as well as devs themselvs commenting on how ps4 development was so much easier than the ps5. thats why half of PS players are still on ps4.

To get to level 4 on PlayStation stars also requires trophies. I got level 4 from buying games on sale digitally and running through some easy trophy games. It only took me like 3 months.

I buy mostly physical games. To get to level 4 you have to do the challenges to get level 4. You can do at least 1 a month from downloading and playing the ps plus free game. Sometimes they're are other challenges with games that are free with your upper tier ps plus membership

To be frank, what more could be added to enhance it? We've reached a plateau with graphics. Despite my assertions, it seems some remain skeptical. There's a peak beyond which improvements are imperceptible. In my view, the current state of graphics in games is sufficient; they don't require further upgrades. Instead, I'd like to see a focus on crafting compelling, story-driven RPGs-something truly innovative, diverging from the norm. I'm entirely supportive of remasters and remakes, especially for those classics that merit a revival on modern consoles. But honestly, the one thing I wish Sony would introduce is the APS6, featuring full backward compatibility, from the first-generation games on PS1 right up to the sixth. That's my desire. If that were the sole new feature over the PS5, I'd be convinced to purchase it immediately.
