Thanks for watching, Phil. It's a small enough city to get to know pretty quickly. Our vids focus on our lives here so I haven't really covered some of the major tourist attractions, but there are plenty of videos about them out there. But you will get a feel for the city so hopefully out vids complement the other stuff! I was born near Hartlepool!

Let's 'camelback''... hahaha brilliant! 😂. Jokes aside those desserts look really delicious esp the ones from Mazaya, I believe they're middle eastern. Haven't had the rice pudding for awhile. In Asian countries they usually cost bananas with batter and deep fry, quite similar to the ones that you had but wrapped in spring roll skin i think. They all look yummy 😋

What a strange advert about a festival of desserts ? Only you organised quick display on your table. Then that advert with a Camel, and the man mixing your cocktail with a stony face 🤭 Read today article about restaurant opened on your doorstep called Spiżarka ( small pantry) pl.Wolnica 13. Pierogi z jagodami ( really in Kraków we call them z borówkami - blueberries ) on the menu. Interesting desserts ( cakes) recepies from Austrian times. On sale food in jars too. Very interesting is the garden at the back with green shrubbery claming the red brick walls.

I had pictured a festival like the ones in Wolnica Square. But you can only eat so many sweets so in the end it was delicious. Wondered how we would make a video out of it, but sometimes the unexpected things turn out more fun. Spizarka does look interesting, we do need to do a better job visiting restaurants on our doorstep and that one does look inviting. There a few on that side of the square...
