Today we look at the HG Michaelis. Great kit. 100% recommend for beginner painters. Here I did a pearl white paint scheme. Didn't shoot that much footage for this one, made up for it with some basic techniques.

So offended KZbin never showed me this vid when it first came out. Really like the pearl look on pharact and this. Nice change of pace and they end up looking brilliant. Kinda annoying you can’t add the expansion parts for it without p Bandai. Because the lance in pearl would be such a great look for it.

Loved what you did with the Michaelis, the claw-arm seemed like a real pain but I totally get not wanting to use stickers. I'm also a sucker for copper accents on mech designs so I loved those. Seeing the mistakes is always good and informative, I tend to forget when watching most Gunpla-tubers that they make mistakes too. My vote is for the HG Gouf Custom!

Masking with the included decals is one of the smartest things I've ever heard that I've never seen.

Just make sure you put the decals on some surface and remove them a couple of times to decrease the amount of adhesives, so they don't pull paint off. You want them to barely have enough to be able to stick to things.

I don't always see glossy/pearl/metallic custom paint builds, it's getting addicting. I'm voting for HG Gouf Custom.

Another nice build, Comrade! It's a shame that the expansion set is still not on the shelves of the stores. Would love to see my boy Michaelis with just a little bit more bulk, love me some mecha with a spear. As much as I would love to see your take on the Gouf Custom, I'm really interested in what you can do with the Force Impulse. So my vote is for the latter.

Awesome work my man! I love moonstone pearl! Amazing end result on this kit. Also, I was also thinking about buying the ps-771. How do you like it?

100% recommend the ps-771. If you think you need something more than your generic 0.2 for detail work, for the price I think you can't beat the 771. Tooling is super smooth, atomization is great, obviously it's super specialized and not for everybody but I'm sure someone like you would appreciate it.

I actually like the first two more than the Moonstone, I think I'd like to use something like that on my Wing Zero Ver Ka. What did you mean by clear white paint though, I can't find that. Oh and the final Michaelis looks great, Im tempted to pick one up for myself. A lot of the WfM kits look great, but I haven't tried them yet.

My clear white is from Gaia Notes, I think that’s the only clear white paint out there

Eh, I explained the white in the video, the bronze was from Alclad, and the purple was just some leftover paints from my MG Dom build, and even that I think was just some leftover paint from before that I adjusted, so it's impossible for me to share paints. I usually just start off with what I have on hand, and adjust them by adding primary colors.
