Cheers, thanks for the upload but one question. Why is the layout on your British clean gold like Marshall.. Mine looks like Vox :/

Hi great vid. I use Garageband and I have a Fender Strat but the guitar always sounds muddy and not crunchy at all. I've tried dozens of combinations with the switch on the guitar and different amps but I'm getting nowhere. Any tips would be fantastic...Thanks..
@JucaNeryGuitar3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. It really depends on your settings. You ned to tweak until you're happy with the tone. Don't be shy to push knobs :)

How did you get such a nice stereo sound @ 3:15? Record twice? Double tracks? Chorus? Sounds great!
@JucaNeryGuitar7 жыл бұрын
Hi, that's really basic. You just play the same riff twice and pan one guitar to the left and the other to the right! That's it. You must play it, not duplicate. Because as humans we don't play the same thing twice the same. So those differences make for a big stereo effect! Cheers

great tip. panning each track.

For some reason I am getting a lot of echo when I play with your settings even though I turned off all reverb and echo.What might be the reason? Your sound is so cool.solos too!
@agastya67993 жыл бұрын
check pedals and the amphead, the echo/reverb could be high there
@dudedude78493 жыл бұрын
@@agastya6799 I found the problem. I use yamaha ag03 mixer and it has a loopback setting which was set to ON, that was it.. when recording this setting should be off as it produces a lot of echo. This setting is mainly used for podcasting

Thanks for uploading. Yeah, I keep using GB for basic tracks and then embelish it with plugins. It is a very powerful, effective daw if you tweak around a bit. I have a version on my iPad, that I always carry along with me. IMHO, the more time you spend on f.. around with sophisticated software, the less creative you are... my 2¢ ;) \m/

Thanks! I create my own sounds in every amp sim. From Logic or third party plugs so I don't have to waste time with knobs! :) Cheers

How much gain should you put on your Scarlett interface while recording guitar?
@JucaNeryGuitar4 жыл бұрын
Depends. Just make sure it doesn’t clip. Or go to the red. On my Scarlett the gain was always on zero. I only increased the gain if I was using a microphone. I don’t have it anymore. Cheers

Sounds OK but I get some much noise from those Logic amps it's incredibly frustrating to work with.
@JucaNeryGuitar7 жыл бұрын
Do you use any noise gate? They do the job! Also depends if you are using humbuckers or single coils.Try to get away from the computer as the pickups will pick all sorts of noise. Depends a lot on the guitar also. Many thanks. Cheers

I have the same problem. I play metal in very low tunings and the noise drives me insane. I have yet to figure out a solution.

Hello tell me please the exact name of your les Paul ... is it possible to get one new for about eur 450. thanks.
@JucaNeryGuitar7 жыл бұрын
Hi, It's a Gibson Les Paul Traditional from 09 in Iced Tea. It costed me new around 1850€. Now I think they are a bit more expensive. So no. Not with 450. Only if you buy an Epiphone Les Paul. Or a used Gibson. But they retail for higher prices. Cheers
