Man with the first 10 or so packs I was really concerned for you cause it wasn’t looking to good but man oh man did you pull off some 🔥 🔥 🔥!!!! Congrats on all the great pulls and that’s so awesome you will be able to pull off so many royalties!!! I know how much you love Back To The Future so I’m so excited for you!! Can’t wait to see once you get all the physical Pops!! We love this set so much too and bought 1 premium pack and 6 standard and did end up with 1 Griff and 3 epics so not to bad but fingers crossed I can start slowly buying the rest of the epics cause we do want to get that royalty!!! I kind of do agree with you about keeping the Freddy as a once per character thing but since we never were able to get the original Doc of course we are happy for the new one but in reality they could of done him as Mad Dog, Biff, or maybe even Needles!!!

This was the first NFT drop I went after. I was waiting until they did BTTF to get into it. I understand your concerns about the Freddy, but selfishly, as someone who has always wanted a Freddy doc brown but knows I’ll never be able to acquire one of the OGs, IM STOKED for this new Freddy doc!!!

Congrats on the pulls im not shocked they burnt 3k packs so soon after nycc having my elf set shipped soon my only grip is the wait time between purchase and shipping i know a quicker turn around would improve the intrest but making it easyer to buy wax and simplfying the process has got to be a way forward for drop and funko 🙏

The first time I bought an NFT pack was a single premium pack of the Elf NFT line and I got two legendary cards, Jovi and Leon. I know I was super lucky and have only bought the Jurassic Park NFT line since, but had no success. These packs giveth, and these packs taketh away.

You definitely had some stellar luck that first time lol. I’ve found that unless you want the Royalty, it’s usually better to just buy the Legendary or Grail that you’re looking for vs gambling on packs. If this wasn’t Back to the Future, and if I didn’t want to try to rack up Royalties, I would have never bought this many packs lol.

that Freddy as Doc brown is from 2014 and only 96 pieces. this freddy wont do anything to the value of that one (or the glow version)

Well on the opinion of the old Freddy as Doc and the new one the New one looks way better and stands out more as Doc then the old one and how many are they of the Old Pop, Value will be based on Buyers and what people are willing to pay for something in the end so the new one could turn around and sell for $2000 by next year depends on how many are actual collected a lot get burned.

But that’s exactly my point, the price someone is willing to pay goes down when there are more options. The value of a Pop hinges on Funko controlling the scarcity of each character. When they create more variants of everything, value goes down overall. With this set, they burned a few thousand premium packs, but there will still end up being 2,000+ of the new Freddy Doc. With 2,000 of them being in circulation, the value will likely not go higher than $300 unless there is a massive influx of new collectors in the future. And the value of the original one will go down because people will choose to opt for the cheaper new variant (which goes back to the issue of scarcity).

Great video and totally agree about the freddy royalty. I love it but unfortunately I just couldn’t go heavy on this one for my self maybe on the next one but it’s a nice set non the less I just see my self being able to complete this set cheap but your profits are gonna be great either way and your not paying anything out of pocket once you sell everything and you’ll have the whole set for free. That’s a big win and that’s how I like to,collect my Funko nfts as well especially if I’m going for a set

Did Funko Pop ever make any funko's of the Back to the Future characters. From all three movie. Do you have a KZbin video of it and what is the title of it?

They did! They have ~20+ if you include all the different variants. They’ve made ones from all three movies but they’re still missing a lot of characters. For instance, they haven’t done Old Biff or Future Biff and they haven’t done Buford Mad Dog Tannen or Clara from part 3 either. They still have some room to add new ones in the future for sure. I don’t have a video of the whole collection, but I would love to make one one day.

I edited a lot of the opening graphics out of the video just to trim it down. My original edit of the video was over an hour long lol and I knew it would be super boring if I didn’t cut stuff out. There are a bunch where you can see which pack number I clicked on though. For instance, the last Doc Legendary came from pack 9,359. If there is one you’re curious about, let me know and I can tell you which pack it came from.

I spend a tremendous amount of time editing these videos for people like YOU to enjoy for FREE lol. I recorded the voiceover directly into the editing software, which is something I never do, and it unfortunately recorded in mono. I’m curious, which part blew your ear out?

And I take pleasure in doing it - so I naturally get defensive when it doesn't seem appreciated. You mentioned ad revenue, but I promise you there isn't even an ounce of me that is doing this for money because the amount earned on each video wouldn't cover a fraction of the amount I spend in dollars and time to create each video.

Are you new to NFT's? "Super conservative"? $50 each legendary? Lorraine and George go for $30 each, Griff $50 and Doc $60. 90% of legendaries go for between $25-40 so your "conservative" guess was crazy high. You did well but for $1200 you are smarter to just go to Atomic and buy the individual redeemables.

Nope, I’ve been buying them since the first wave. When I cited those values, I was talking about value at the time the physical Pops are received. Majority of the time, the physical Pops end up being worth significantly more compared to prior to redemption. For instance, I bought a redemption coin for Trinity from the Matrix for less than $30 and as soon as the physical Pop was received, the value jumped to $70. This has been the case for many of the NFT Pops. I agree I could have just bought one of each of the redeemables on Atomic Hub for cheaper, but I wanted multiples and I also wanted to get as many royalties as possible, so buying packs was a good option on this one.
