AURORA is a self-taught piano player and singer. She is from norway, and is 27 soon 28 years old and she started making melodies when she was 6 years old . The words came when she was 9 or 11 years old. She made runaway when she was 11years old. She is a multi talent. She can paint, dance, and make meaningful music. The newer songs are very different from what we have seen of her, i recommend you to check out her older stuff first. She is in a new area, but she still sounds like her. You have to check out her live performances the music feels even better live because you see the art being made on the stage, and it will blow your mind everytime!! its a bit hard to give recommendations because all of her songs and live performances are beautiful but i recommend her cop26 concert she sings alot of her songs that is popular and its mostly acoustic. In that way, you also get to see her speak to the crowd and understand her as an artist and what she stands for. Aurora doesn't write about herself. She always says the music is bigger than her, and she has a longer vision about what music is and what it could do for us, it can make you dance, cry or be sad or happy. She have made a lot of songs and realised them many years after because she is realising them when she thinks the world needs it the most. Aurora is the most authentic person I think you will see in the music industry. She writes all of her songs mostly all alone. She produces them on her own terms and make her musicvideos too. Aurora herself is art. She is also very strict when it comes to her band and the people she works with she said, "I need people that don't look at the notes while playing." When she writes music, she has something to say. It has become more "political" she sings about the right to love, racism and the most important to her is mother earth as she call the world. She was mostly in the forest when she was a child all the time, alone, and she still loves it.. Her parents used a big cow bell to call her in to dinner. If you see cop26, you will understand it. When she was little, she didn't like to be with a lot of people, and she only got social media because she became an artist. She dont care about fame and has a totally other view on success than others. Us from Norway is obviously so proud of her and we think its fun thats so many can see her talent and help others to feel.she iis having a norwegian tour and people from 48 countries are coming to see her. She is just pure and so authentic. ❤

I watched the live Vivio version of exhale inhale after reading your comment I'd heard the song but only listened. The lighting and camera work are pretty wild, it's pulsating like heart beats. Or breaths.

Aurora is incredible artist, very creative and emotional. BTW: she write her songs and even so her music has a lot of variation. She wrote this song when was 11 years old, You get original meaning of this song very well. Originally it is about a different phases of sorrow and running away from word and sorrow. And you need a soft place to fall = place or person where you can "heal" yourself. And yes you can not run away from this true and sorrow forever. You need to return to world in some point and accept the loss. And your comments was spot on I think :).

I absolutely love Aurora, but this isn't one of my favorite music videos of hers. Even though it's wonderfully shot, I don't find it particularly creative (it was very early in her career, though). I do appreciate your perspective as a videographer, though. It was fun watching it through your eyes! 👍🤟

I really like your reaction. You not only manage to hear the music and its fine nuances as well as the lyrics, but also the small details in the video. I'm sure you will love Aurora's Videos as they are small works of art and contain many little hints to her lyrics. Aurora will probably also open up some emotions that you didn't know you had. She is a very talented musician and songwriter who has helped many people with her music, her lyrics and most of all with her being. You will understand what I mean when you have seen her live performance and how she interacts with the audience. However, I will start with the music videos and then find the same songs as live performance. You will see (not hear) what I mean. Welcome to Aurora's world and thx for a nice reaction. I look forward to seeing more Aurora in your world.😊

Very accurate reaction, you're the only reactor to notice that line "I've been putting sorrow on the farest place on my shelf". All Aurora as a songwriter is in this line, in my opinion. She start writing this song at eleven after the loss of her family's friend, her godfather, I believe. She had to suffer many losses in her youth, and dealt with it with her music and songwriting. She also wrote "Why Did You Have to go a Place" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mImknmmFm7J5odUsi=NmWT1wvaOabQx-UJ) for the funerals of a friend, when she was 15, and "Little Boy in The Grass" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5zMh2pmabOXlassi=nrWmXTUFNpVTBDng) in remembrance of a friend (maybe boyfriend) who got killed in the Utøya massacre, when she was 16. And yes, her songs are open to interpretations, and that's intentional.

Aurora has a lot of beautiful music videos (and her live performances are amazing). From a cinematography standpoint, I really love Queendom (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYavloubhtCkmpI), Exist for Love (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYqnnKWAls52qNk), and Running with the Wolves (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmfLpWyDrq9_ipY) -- and so many more, but those are a great start. You might also really enjoy her newest two - Your Blood, and Conflict of the Mind. She takes a very active role in developing the concepts for the videos - and is a great dancer, and general talent to enjoy. I appreciate your POV. Instant sub. ;)

Thanks for the great reaction, Joe E! You've actually seen two from Aurora before: The River and Conflict of the Mind. She's got some really solid music videos, but we have to get you in front of her live performances, too. She lives in the world of her songs to a degree that I rarely see in other musicians, and it makes her live performances super powerful in a way that doesn't always come across in a studio recording. This is a rabbit hole well worth exploring!
