I have holes in my fav work pants so I think I’ll try one of these ways to close holes. But, need to know, what kind of thread is used here??? Not regular thread...

The thread is coloured so to show you better - depending on what material the clothing is- you use a similar thread Eg/ cotton pants , cotton thread etc

Looks like the repair on the gray pants and the jeans in the first two minutes of the video use a ladder stitch.

I believe the stitch used for the ripped jeans and to resize the jeans are the same and I think its called the hidden stitch
