As a Mavs fan, I admit that I was skeptical when Kyrie was traded last year. He's been amazing and that trade was one of the best things the Mavs could have done. I think the main thing is he’s a father now, and that matured him A LOT!!! He’s a man now, that’s the difference. He wasn’t when we was on the cavs or the nets or Boston. Now he’s found himself finally. Lebron was hoping for it sooner than later but later it is.

People gotta remember that a lot of Kyrie’s criticism in the past was him being a young guy tryna prove that he’s that guy but you see how he’s matured over the years & understands who he is as a player now.. maturity is really what helped him get to this point

I will admit, I was one of those people that had a bit of skepticism about Kyrie coming to Dallas. But in his time here, it has been and is a beautiful experience watching him develop on and off the court. And I don't throw that word around lightly, it truly is beautiful: the way he is around his teammates (especially Luka), and his family, the way he handles criticism and the media, and just the way he's always smiling and optimistic even when they lose. A class act Kyrie Irving is.
