Protip for videos: Always show first what the end result is and only then how it was done. That way people don't have to guess, as otherwise most likely will just jump to the end and find it annoying.

Circular saw, band saw, table saw, miter box with a miter saw. Any of these with a guide will do the same thing. All he did was make the base larger. The whole rig was manufactured just to incorporate the bearings to keep the blade from deflecting sideways. A saber saw was not meant to cut through 3/4 inch lumber.

Absolutely! Those big washers got in the way! Completely pointless. All that effort to duplicate the "rip fence" that comes with a jigsaw and it's still not "straight". Do svedanya, professor.

Keep the bench clamp and use a curcular saw, then you'll get a square and straight cut and a finer surface than any jigsaw could give.

Also beim Sägen führst Du die Säge leider nicht wirklich am Anschlag. Man sieht das hinten ein Spalt ist. Außerdem steht die große Unterlegscheibe über und verhindert sogar komplettes anliegen! Man sieht auch entsprechend eine Riefe im Anschlagbrett, das zum Spannen des Werkstücks benutzt wird. So ganz kann ich den Sinn der ganzen Konstruktion aber auch nicht verstehen, da eine Stichsäge eigentlich auch so einen winkligen Schnitt macht. Außerdem, beim zeigen, daß das Sägeblatt gerade stehen soll, sieht man wie Du mit dem Winkel das Sägeblatt leicht rüberschiebst... Es steht also nicht wirklich gerade. Und beim zeigen der winkligen Schnittfläche, finde ich das es beim ersten zeigen ganz leicht nach links abfällt, nach dem umdrehen entsprechend nach rechts. Es ist nur minimal, aber somit für mich nicht wirklich winklig gerade. Finde das die Fläche ganz leicht rundlich zur abfallenden Seite hin wirkt. Schade, wenn auch interessante Idee.

Time wasting , what is the use of this tool? As far as I know with every jigsaw you will have a slide guide that act the same.

I have to say twas a waste of time for what it is, but acknowledge the fact that jigsaws rarely cut true and this addresses the problem when you HAVE to use a jig saw or dont have a circular saw to hand....but a spoiler in the title or something early on in the vid would have resulted in you getting fewer keyboard woodworkers raging....just a thought chap

Feel sorry for the guy wasting his life with that when he can get a decent bandsaw with adjustable fences and tilting bed or better still learn how to cut alongside a hand planed squared up 2x2 clamped in place as the guide jut like a true old fashioned cabinet maker learn to do 100's of years ago when there was no electricity or steam engines.
