I mained Wanderer with c6 Faruzan since release and It’s really about how you get used to him and how comfortable you are with him. Over time you even get used to his insults and learn how to correctly fly with him. My advise for anyone reading this, wish for whoever YOU want not what other people consider “better” and meta. In the end of the day, who cares?

Ye i agree i am pulling for wanderer too but i think sucrose and/or haizou do that job "better" their kit is more suited for that. Wanderer excels in dmg output tho so hypercarry is lot more efficient but yeah these teams are a good place holder until u get chars like benny, c6 farzuan and layla/zhongli/any sheilder

@@DedSecCHN I feel you! This is why I can’t live on the edge with Hu Tao and Arlecchino gameplay. Furina I find less intimidating since you can panic swap to healing mode which isn’t instant but it heals a lot per tick! One of my teams for her is Furina/Baizhu/Kuki/Al Haitham and even though it’s overkill having two healers instead of swapping in Nahida, it’s still very comfy to me. You could also swap Kuki for an EM Raiden build.

Wanderer hands down best exploration character, which imo makes a meaningful impact on daily gaming experience. Since Furina release, I haven’t changed my overworld team from Wanderer (w/ Lost Prayer +anemo movement speed), Jean, Yelan, Furina. Can use Wanderer e to go fast constantly, Yelan to back up on cooldown, plus Furina for walking on water if needed. I clear the Marche Hunter domain in about 25s. He is worth building for overworld alone. Also can use water with his E to extend flying stamina bar.

Yeah and there are replacements for these chars too like lynette in place of yelan, haizou in place of jean (exploration talent) and ayaka/mona in place of furina. Exploration becomes lot easier.

Many veteran players have a roster that easily clears abyss but the ultimate luxury of life is having a fun overworld team as I spend the majority of it traveling Teyvat. Wanderer is simply unmatched in versatility being a non-burst reliant character that zooms and is half of team anemo resonance.

As a new player that started the game in December I'm ready for Wanderer especially since standard banner gave me Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds. I'm glad that I went all in on Xianyun/Nahida banner (C1 and C0) as I got both of them and C6 Faruzan/Gaming/Noelle and I lost my 50/50 recently and have a 45 pity and none of the 4 stars would benefit me much in getting more cons aside from Beidou C2 who I was just planning to just get the con via shop in July so if I get her on the way to Wanderer would save me some glitter. Wanderer and Xianyun are going to make exploration go incredibly fast.

Faruzan Layla Beidou is a really good 4* rate up i do think Kokomi/Baizhu/Zhongli are an underrated trio because they dont have a strict buff for certain playstyles like Cloud Retainer theyre seen as weak or a DPS loss but theyre very comfy characters and they do enable teams to play in a more offensive way that doesnt really get picked up on when looking at spreadsheets

Zhongli is seemingly getting LESS popular at least and I see some weirdos really write him off as a complete DPS loss now even with like Arlecchino where he is but the comfort shield is REALLY useful. I find Kokomi and Baizhu work incredibly if you just utilise them in their niches, they're a DPS loss compared to buffers BUT you can use them to enable certain teams really nicely. Baizhu and Furina is AMAZING comfort since it's a huge pain to heal the party with any other healers. Baizhu is really fun with on field Nahida for me, I'm not sure if there's better options but I've been doing her with EM Raiden and usually Furina or maybe Yelan, then Baizhu helps Furina maximise her buffs, and he does buff Nahida at least a little with his shield up and applying a bit of extra dendro. Kokomi I'm not too well versed with besides using her 'cause I like her, but I've seen some stuff recently where she's actually recommended a lot for her hydro. Works really well with Kazuha and even like Hu Tao if you're fine with healing her simply since she likes enemies to be in one place. Probably better DPS examples she works with. Maybe Ayaya. Plus she's nice for hydro if you need a healer (no Yelan) and aren't using Furina, and then pop on the clam set for a couple 30,000 free hits is always welcome. Which actually if it's an AoE you could do a lot more damage doing 30,000 per enemy. And most importantly, use what you like, don't be a meta slave unless you enjoy that, and if you are really serious about minmaxxing it's actually really fun to use less popular characters and challenge yourself to build them to be stronke. Also. Kokomi. Enough said.

I have an insane Wanderer team! It requires a lot of luck with your standard banner and 50/50 pulls tho. Bennett with a C4 Jean to do Ultra Sunfire, plus C6 Faruzan and a well built C0 Wanderer. Lookup Jean's C4 to understand how crazy this team actually is. You won't die easily with this combo, but you'll need to dodge to avoid DMG loss... 😎👍

Prospector's Pike looks really good. 21% ATK and 39% DMG bonus on a high Base ATK weapon with the only trigger condition needed being a mix getting 3 heals or triggering 3 heals makes it stronger than Catch by a good margin (3% more DMG bonus and it's universal as opposed ot burst, 55 more Base ATK and 48.6% ATK bonus).

Baizhu was one of my roommate’s first 5 stars. He made combat a lot more enjoyable for her, and I liked that I didn’t have to be the one to always bring a healer to co-op. : ) After seeing her playing him I also pulled for Baizhu during his 1st banner and haven’t regretted it a bit. He’s very comfy, and it’s nice that he’s dendro because the only dendro characters I’ve built are Tighnari, Nahida and Baizhu. I’m also Wanderer haver and used to play him constantly in overworld. I think he’s very useful in exploration and on par with Xianyun (latter is faster but vertically more limited). My Wanderer is quite heavily invested in but yeah… my Arlecchino is something else altogether. “:D Layla copies would have been nice but I’ll have to wait for her another banner run.

I'm a newer player, so this banner looks great to me. I don't have Layla or Pirate Lady. I have a lot of map left to explore and I don't have an anemo DPS, so Wander looks nice, but if I lose my 50/50 I would just be ready to get another 5 star by the time Furina comes out.

If you want Furina try and get Baizhu he works well with her but if you don't want an Anemo main i would advice against it since the 4 stars could be better and the 5 stars are not the amongst the strongest 5 stars either

I really want Baizhu for my Tighnari, Sucrose, Fischl team since Tighnari really wants some interruption res as a bow user but to do so I have to lose healing or buffs. Baizhu lets me have it all. I also have the matcha donut (lost 50/50 for Furina’s signature) too so there’s that. I needed 2 more Faruzan cons for her C6 so this is a win-win.

I am going to wait for next patch banners to release. If chevreuse or other 4* options I need isn’t on clorinde’s banner I think I’ll pull 40 or so on baizhu’s banner and if I get him alright if I lose the 50/50 even better, if nothing at least I should pick up a few copies of units I need and that’s less pulls for clorinde’s banner.

Took a break from genshin and just came back during the end of 4.6, left in 2.6, I have no premium dendro options so I'm definitely going for baizhu. Wanderer looks cool and I always wanted to play as him but it feels like I should be saving so I can get c2 R1 furina instead. I already have c3 Xiao, idk how much more value wanderer will give. I can get him at a later date.

I've had c6 Faruzan (and c6 Layla) since release. I have a level 90 Skyward Atlas just sitting there. I still don't have a 5* Anemo main DPS. Currently farming City of Gold for FoPL artifacts, but have no one to use the DPC artifact I'm getting. Seems like the perfect time to pull for Wanderer.

Saving my guaranteed for Wanderer after losing to Diluc while going for C1 Arlecchino…it was an early 7 pity 50/50 also. Deep down I’m glad it happened bcuz I wasn’t gonna pull for Wanderer if I had won 50/50 even early and low key wishing for something like this to happen 😅

Same boat. I have been waiting for Alhaitham for so so very long and I am guaranteed with enough wishes to hard pity. I want Layla cons. I use her constantly but... I just can't. Hopefully they don't wait another year + to rerun her again (though I won't hold my breath.)

I don't remember between Rosaria, Layla, and Candace which 2(?) I have C6 because the third one is surprisingly low constellations. I'd love more a Beidou but I just got Baizhu and Wanderer whenever they were last I think and don't want constellations enough to justify and primos spent. And hoping and praying for Chevrolet on Clorinde's. I'd have thought it's too soon but people really expected her on the Arlecchino banner so hopefully that means she's up soon. I'll be going as hard as I can to get Momm- I mean, Clorinde. So hopefully more Chevrolets since I barely got a single pity C0 at the end of her intro. I think I pulled for the banner before hers on the same update and was so mad she was on the second half not the first. I think it was Furina? I got C1 with pretty good luck so I pulled enough to hopefully get a few Chevy's but she was on the banner with old characters :'(

Would Baizhu or Kokomi be a better on field driver for a hyperbloom comp? (I do have Raiden, Nahida, YaoYao, XQ but no yelan or kuki yet) I was going to pull kokomi for my onfield hyperbloom driver as a comfort pick, but which of these two would be a better pull for this role? (I do also have neuv [Currently using Neuv, kaz, yaoyao, deyha])

Could wait for Alhaitham in 4.7 (but you'll also need Kuki). But right now you can just run Nahida as driver with those characters. I dont see a point in either Baizhu or Kokomi, they wont make the team much better.

While I have C0 Wanderer and Baizhu, I already have Beidou at C11, Faruzan at C7, and Layla at C4, so even though I want more of Baizhu and Layla Cons, I don't want to waste Clorinde pulls on hoping for them.

Part of me is suspecting Kaveh might be on next banner. Especially if speculations that Furina will be on next banners, along with Sigwinnie and Chloride, are accurate. I don't know just think he'd potentially work with Furina and Sigwinnie. Have to wait and see I guess

I hate faruzan. Back in 3.3 I got Wanderer and Itto, no faruzan. I had to do like 20 extra pulls to get 1 copy of her. I skipped the 3.8 banners because I already had Wanderer and kokomi. I pulled for Xianyun. And I only have a c1 faruzan. They need to do something about these 4 stars, because I already have both these characters and I'm not about to pull for constellations

Same situation as you with c1 faruzan that i kinda regret pulling wanderer as his numbers without c6 faruzan aren't too great
