I enjoyed watching your video (also watched your hike at Lake Waikaremoana) to relive my hiking experience on both tracks. I agree with your assessment and advice for the Abel Tasman! Next up for me is the Heaphy, next month. All the best :-)

Hello, I really enjoyed your video and I found everything I needed to know to do the Track, thanks for that. One question, is there electricity in any campsite? I mean where to charge the cell phone or camera because obviously I want to take photos and videos and the battery will not last 5 days. Thank you

Hi Claudia, we're so glad that you enjoyed our video!! None of the campsites that we stayed at had electricity, but we took a portable charger and used that to charge up our devices as needed. Our portable charger is solar-powered, so we were able to charge in while we walked :). There is a small chance that the huts have electricity, but I don't believe so. If you check on the doc website for the Abel Tasman, it should tell you. We hope that helps, and thank you for the positive feedback! :)
