Let's talk about Great Western Trail: Argentina
When Alexander Pfister and Eggertspiele/Plan B Games announced two new titles in a series of GWT games, we where excited. Now the first one is here, and we cannot wait to talk to you about it.

Great review, guys!! GWT is one of our favorite games (seriously, it's an if-you-are-ever-stranded-on-a-deserted-island choice pick) so I was not sure if I needed Argentina. But having the opportunity to play it last night I was MOST impressed. It's so funny that you were making comparisons with Brass: Birmingham vs Brass: Lancashire in comparison with GWT vs GWT:A, since we played Brass: Birmingham right after GWT: Argentina! This was a PERFECT comparison and an excellent example for why I am buying GWT:A just as I did Brass: Birmingham, even when I view Brass: Lancashire as a masterpiece of design.

We have not! We wanted to, but so many games, and it was a big game to get played enough! We might include it in a rambling review if we get the chance to play it more before the end of the year!

Right now, Argentina! Hard to say between Original with expansion and this, and it all comes down to preference!

Depending on what kind of games you like. Argentina is a bit more going on, but you cannot really go wrong with wither. Check out some gameplay videos to see which one makes you the most excited!

Oh Johannes was right, the "j" in "Granjeros" is pronounced as an "h" in English, so "Gran-her-raws".

I like 1st edition art more cuz its better reflects "mood" of that century. 2nd looks like too shiny and feels like for kids.

It does need a little bit more space than the original, but it’s not too much more involved! When you know the rules, it is so super smooth, and turns go very fast :)
