Port McDonnell, due South of Mount Gambier. They used to haul the fishing boats up onto the beach for maintenance. What the crew of this boat didn't realize in this instance is that the GW was checking where all the heart beats were coming from. A Great White of that dimension hunts and consumes Sea lions Seals etc.exclusively. They are used to tracking mammalian heartbeats. Unnoticed to you your heartbeats are pulsing through your feet or whatever part of your body is in contact with the boat's hull which transfers it as sound/ pressure waves into the water Same principal for surfers and surfboards and of course your heart beat is directly audible in the water.. Similar to their main menu item.I do mean similar. Probably like the heartbeat of a juvenile or immature seal That Shark is saying,"I know the seals are around here somewhere, but I just can't get at em' and remember that water is glassy calm no chop or swell or surf break to jam the audio signal he/she is picking up from maybe as far as a kilometer or so. There's probably a seal colony near bye. When you are at a surf beach and there are breaking waves, you can rest in the knowledge that shore ward of the break, No Great White will make an appearance 99%. This is why surfers may see them seaward of the break. Firstly, the break trashes the Great Whites hearing for any heartbeat shore ward of the break and evolution tells the GW not to risk getting beached by the break. Have you ever noticed that on a day when there is No surfbreak where there normally is, ie the water is glass calm, that's the time that Mr "Curious" like above will come in to check out all those seal pup heartbeats that it can hear, which all seem to congregate in as little as a meter of water. If I was a betting man I would stay out of the water on a still day, if there is normally surf. Take care everybody.

15 feet? I don’t think so. But still incredibly amazing.
