I've done that exact route twice, once on a hard tail and the secound time on my 2019 Mega Al. It is the toughest 10 - 11 mile loop i've ever done. The last hike a bike climb from Small Water to the top of Nan Bield nearly finished me off both times. Also the first time I did it, on the descent from Nan Bield, I went OTB and I managed to cushion the landing with my face on a rock. So many happy memories. I managed to keep my teeth (although it was touch and go) so all good.

We did this one recently, cracking loop, we came down harter fell though 😲 looked better than that climb up you did though haha, great riding down nan bield, the gopro doesn't do those switch backs justice, great video 👍

It was a killer but had to be ticked off the list of lakes classics. Yea brutal descent! It was so loose as well. Will highly consider your way next time 😜

We did this route a couple of weeks ago, and took the short cut, after seeing the alternative on this video bloody glad we did 🤣 It is doable on an ebike, just my skill level for harter fell, well let's just say I don't have that skill 🤪 great video 👍🏼

I would not recommend our way on an ebike unless you are a trials god! Very tech and steep most of the way up

@@GreatWhyteCreations way we went 99% was rideable on the climb which was basically top of Harter Fell 👍🏼 your final climb up to Nan Bield just looked crazy. Not as crazy as the technical descent down Harter Fell though 🤣 good luck if you do decide to give it a try

You should have deffo gone sneaky short cut way because it is harter which I think is one of the most exposed and technical descents in the lakes
