oh my the stars are unbelievable! In grade 10 we had a 10 day hike through central Australia (more specifically, the Larapinta Trail near Alice Springs), and there happened to be a meteor shower one night. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Would recommend, beautifully unique place.
@Annie-hb8ob4 жыл бұрын
@@creativecosmos8922 I'd never seen the night sky without light pollution until a few years ago (currently 23) was out in western NSW, very close to the QLD and NT borders. It took my breath away. It was amazing to see the milky way in person. And it's not like I live in the city or anything, just 2 hours north of Sydney, and about 30 minutes away from Newcastle. So I do see plenty of stars at night, but i never realised quite how much i was not seeing.

I used to lie in a hillstation/City which was fairly small. People would come there for vacationing and there was this road that connected our town to a major city and it was only used by trucks the first time We travelled along that road I saw the prettiest starts ever. It was truly breathtaking, now I live in a city and i can't remember the last time I saw the stars.
