GreaterNinjaT yeah i understand I love bakugan but i would get bored making videos on the same game all the time. I used to upload whatever i wanted to my channel since its my channel and i would get bored uploading the same thing all the time.

What I hated about free play is how locked down it was. Even in single player you couldn’t choose a gate card, nor could you set extra. I can understand it been locked in multiplayer to prevent cheating, but it rips away all the strategies

What I didn't like were the mini games, after the "G-Power" increases I would have preferred a battle system more like "Core Defenders" I would also have liked to be able to use more than a single card per color : Green, Red and Blue, plus if two Bakugan land on the same portal card and it is your property, then their G-Powers are added and you don't simply win the portal card without having to fight.

1. There's a battle mode where you can pick your characters. 2. It depends in story mode cpu picks in battle mode I pick.

@@Florentina-ox9xq IMO I think the CPU's always pick randomly, but I've seen them more often than not, pick their stronger Bakugan to use first, regardless of what I have on the field. Though I have seen a few weaker ones go first. And in, I believe Arcade mode, you can pick between any unlocked characters from any profile and their decks as well depending on if you've faced them before. I recommend beating the story mode and unlocking all the Bakugan and players first, then going to Arcade to play with friends as you'd have everything unlocked and ready to go. You can also play as your custom character in any version but I believe in the PS2 version and maybe a few others, you're limited to 1 custom character. But I've seen, I think a Wii video, where they had 4 custom characters in battle at the same time. Not sure if this was just a bug on my version or if this was a Wii exclusive feature, but it always annoyed me how I couldn't play with repeat characters. I believe the only reason it lets you pick another custom is if you've beaten story mode WITH that custom character, have a prebuilt deck for it and is not a duplicate attribute of a profile you already have. Like you can't battle with 2 ventus custom players and both profiles have to have nearly 100% completion. Which is a lot of work just for that extra bonus. I'd have to do some research.

@@darkstone_official_2427 yeah as a wii player, I can confirm the game didn’t have to be beaten to use a custom character in the free play mode. And that yes, multiple customs could be used. That’s as far as my knowledge goes
