Yeah, that song has a great bass solo but I don't quite consider it black metal. I may do a spin off series at some point because I have so many songs I could include but I'll have to find the correct time to do it. Thank you for the suggestion though, I've added it to the list!

502 is actually the first song I've ever heard of Marduk, back when Grooveshark was still a thing. I have many more Marduk songs in my list and I was thinking of making a video just for them at some point but I'm not too familiar with their music so I may be missing many good songs.

@@hephaestusofficial I'm not a bassist nor a marduk expert by any means but great basslines that come to mind are Those of the Unlight, Sulphur Souls, The Black Tormentor of Satan, Beyond the grace of God, World of Blades. My recommendation would be to go on a Marduk marathon and listen to everything!

in the original recording it has bass from the begining but I decided that since this is a video dedicated to bass solos, I'd only include the solo parts of the bass lines. Looking back though, this might have been a bad idea

WYRD really surprised me with their basslines tbh! I'd suggest In Your Midnight Orchard by Alghazanth because it's my favourite bassline in black metal. I can send you a UG playlist consisting of about 80 songs (if I recall correctly) that contain such basslines if you'd like!
