I just picked up a Flash #139 at an estate sale for $40. I'll find out after grading, but I'm betting it also hits 3.5, maybe 4.0. Very happy with that. Also found a Flash #137, Green Lantern #7 (first Sinestro), and Justice League #3. (There was much more I wish I had snagged, but my budget was telling me not to.) And those weren't even the best deals I got that week! What a week! It's nuts what I lucked into out in the wild.

well after watching your CGC unboxing, I really don't feel bad now LOL. Most of my comics that have been sent into CGC have came back 9.6, 9.8 some 9.4, 9.2 and 9.0 and a few 8.5. My books mostly are from the late 70's and mid 80's.

What are some cheap books that you can find ungraded, that when graded in a high grade the prices sky rocket. Like an ASM 301 for example, easy to find around but a 9.8 goes for $1000 because it’s hard to find in that grade.

It's a tough question. There are alot of books in the $100 range raw and end up being around $400-$500. 1st miles Morales and 1st beta ray bill come to mind

It's the 2nd 60 box collection I've purchased and this one was significantly more than the other. There are a tremendous amount of variables.
