When did the nat 20 return to consciousness come in? I thought it was 2 successes?

@@austenlavis5658 I believe a nat 1 is two fails, but a nat 20 you become consciousness. But in the campaign I am in, our dm does two successes, so it depends on dms.

@@austenlavis5658 CR has a table rule that if you roll a Nat 20, you regain 1HP and get to finish your turn. Both Dorain and Orym rolled Nat 20s on their first death saves.

@@cherryblossomwriter23 It's not even a house rule. Death saves are made at the start of your turn and are not an action, so rolling a nat 20 and regaining 1 HP at the start of your turn gives you an opportunity to move and take an action and bonus action.

I love combat encounters like this were the villain is to high for them to kill unless they get luckily and then the villain escapes. Really adds more to the story, especially since they tied in Fearne to the Nightmare kind. Loved that battle

god so much happened this episod. and it wss so good. spoilers btw. From chetneys werewolf reveal into the 2 nat 20 death saves to fearnes/the calloway connection to the nightmare king that causes them to let the group survive. then imogens family/mother backstory drop. goddddd this ep had it all and even if it was 5 hours it was all worth it. 😂
