Interestingly, the Germans didn't see tanks as a weapon to be used against other tanks, but rather against infantry, and emplacements; they also used them in conjunction with infantry, realising much sooner than the Allies that tanks need infantry support to be most effective. A great example of this is Rommel in Africa, instead of fighting 'tank on tank' he withdrew, drawing the Allies into the range of his anti tank gun emplacements, and using them to great effect. I think they should rework the tanks mechanics. Maybe like how War Thunder does it. Because light vehicles like those should die in one hit due to spalling. Instead of having tank HP, stuff should be able to penetrate the tank and damage modules/crew.

For the dummies for whom it doesn't ring the bell when they see "APCR" written on the ammo they're using, the developers even put a picture in the ammo selection menu, clearly showing the ammo type has penetration capabilities. I guess it wasn't enough.

The enemy verhicles should be destroyed instantly, when you fire an 8.8 shell, at this short distance. And also loading a shell into the gun goes way faster, than shown here. For an experienced loader, it could take up to just 1.5 seconds to reload a new shell. (the empty shell casing is ejected automatically, and the breech block closes automatically also, when the shell is loaded).

Depends if you have ready rounds or not. If you have gone through the ones easily available on the turret, good luck retrieving those on the floor storage in short notice! About the "durability" of vehicles. Apparently, armor values and the like still haven't been worked out. They are supposedly working on a very basic, HP based model, hence why a Bren Carrier is so surprisingly resilient.

1,5 seconds? I want to see someone do that. Even an experienced loader would have a hard time doing that. Amid the heat, the fumes, the noise, spent shell cases rattling around, the commander giving orders, constantly having to change ammo depending on whether you're engaging infantry or tanks, pulling out ammo from the racks in the confined space, banging your head against the inside of the turret, enemy shells hitting the hull of the tank...sorry, I don't believe 1,5 seconds is anywhere near realistic. 3-4 seconds perhaps, at a push.

In case of quick-loading is needed, the loader only needs to stand by with the next shell is his hands. Lets assume that the loader is given the command to only load armor piercing shells. Loaders were trained to reload as fast as possible. At the front, every shot counted, and a shell loaded to late, could mean the end of them all in the tank. And don't forget, in WW2 tanks in general fired from a stand-still position. At that time, the tanks were not yet fitted with gyroscopes, making it extremely difficult, to fire accurate while driving.

@Diebels: I agree with all that you say, however even with all that considered I think 1,5 seconds is not very realistic. Also, you could only do that once, since already with the second shot the loader would need more time to fetch a new shell from the rack.
