I would have agreed with people saying LA knight but the pop Sami USO had during pre promos survivor series till mania was super loud. The fact the man got the last entrance against Roman shows how massively popular Sami was. I really feel that he was by far the only guy Roman would have loved to drop the title to if asked. He did a lot to give Sami back that night. The last entrance, a visual pin and a post match beatdown. One of the best storylines ever. Sami deserves it.

Sami had the overall better storylines. Sami was the first half of the year and Knight was more so like the last 3-4 months where he was actually getting pushed (but Sami’s second half of the year was better then Knight’s first half). I mean Sami main evented 4 ppv’s where Knight only did once (if I recall correctly). Sami had more of that emotional aspect to it as well. Not to mention he was a champ (tag champs) while Knight wasn’t. Also the fact that main event tag title match at WM not only was he a part of beating the USO’s but that was also a huge historical event in being that the last tag team title match that main evented a WM was the very first WM back in 84 (which is huge). Sami takes this one. Sami was honestly the mvp of the year.

2018 was easily babyface IC Champ, best match on the card every single night, the lifeblood of RAW with a part time Brock Lesnar, the one and only Seth Rollins. The awesome feuds and matches with Miz, Balor, Ziggler, it was all amazing. He had such a good year it was a no-brainer he was gonna win the 2019 Royal Rumble!

I think for 2016 although as much as I love Dean Ambrose It has to go to The Showoff Dolph Ziggler like that emotional and passionate promo that he cut that was one of the best promos of all time and one of the best fueds of all time .We could feel Dolph his emotions the heartbreak and that amazing and underrated fued with the Miz where he put his career on the line and overcame the Miz Maryse and hell even the spirit squad .He could not be stopped by anyone and was on another level altogether and won the Intercontinental Championship in a truly surreal way. That was one of the greatest rivalries full of emotions And which started as heartbreaking broken and sad ended with overwhelming joy happiness and feeling emotional for Dolph such was the conclusion to that epic rivalry. He faced Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship faced the likes of Triple H went against the Authority exposed their backstage politics and power to not let him reach the top of the mountain in WWE .He had the charisma classic matches amazing promos awesome fueds and was super over with the fans and was one of the hottest thing in 2016 but sadly they never saw him to be a main event player and WWE never pulled the trigger on him. He was the best babyface of 2016
