He hears music in his heart and sees it in his brain. His response was so genuine and respectful - when one loves something as he does music, practice is not drudgery. I hope we hear more of Wilson in years to come. Bravo!
@mithulahiri41057 ай бұрын
I felt this too! That he actually feels the music - you can see it on his face when he is playing and hear it in the music. There are a lot of very talented kids his age and younger, but their virtuosity is simply in playing the notes; virtuosity without feeling means nothing in music. I saw and heard that feeling in Wilson's playing.

@@ebeyslough lmao if you believe your environment holds no weight as to what you can achieve, we need some education. What your parents do and have you do and others around you determines much of your life for most of the population. Whether they have the finances to provide an outlet for intelligence, whether you have a car and can take them to lessons, whether they have the knowledge to even know about what to do with you. Take Bill Gates for instance or Kanye West or Steve Jobs none of them would have been who they are without their resources. If your dad is an abuser and mom has left the house statistics say you're not going to be viewed as brilliant ever in your life. The poverty cycle is a hell of a thing. I'm happy for this amazing child, but we cannot say it's only talent + persistence.

@@fareshajjar1208 That sounds rather dismissive if you don't mind my saying. Facility comes from drill, certainly, but i can hear true expression which only comes from understanding. That's maturity at a young age and promises fluency and possibly mastery.
@RogerioLupoArteCientifica7 ай бұрын
@@sanseijedi yeah, some adult people tend to dismiss and underestimate children's awareness and capabilities. They forget how they had preferences and tendencies themselves when they were children, and they ignore the fact that children are much less brainwashed than we are as adults after decades of conditioning. Hence they manifest their talent and skills out of their sheer nature. Otherwise, what about Prokofiev, who was as young as this boy when he composed this piece that already carries all his personal style, which he manifested throughout his entire life? Who was Prokofiev mimicking then?
@sanseijedi7 ай бұрын
@@RogerioLupoArteCientifica Exactly. With young musicians, there is less to unlearn as bad habits or crutches. Plus sometimes they experience a freedom of not knowing how difficult others find some things that they themselves do easily. Anyway, I'm quite grateful and impressed for beautiful music however it is found.
