Now this is what you would call true love. I watched you guys since you first started the channel so before you came out. The way you both support each other is something else that words can't even describe. Your kids are going to grow up to be empathetic, understanding, open-minded and they will know what true love really is

Beautifully articulated! You truly articulated all I meant to express, but I could not have shared it better. I am 83 years young, full of admiration of you both, Shaye and Amanda from day one! 💖

"Everyone needs an Amanda in their life." YES! I am so here for the partnership (not just support) that you've shared throughout this journey. But I'd also add that everyone needs a Shaye as well-someone with the courage to be her authentic self and remind us of the freedom that comes with doing the same. Love you two!

I love how Shaye is more and more comfortable with herself each day. And each day she’s more comfortable with herself, she glows stronger. She shines brighter. She holds her head up a little higher. She’s more herself and it’s so amazing and exciting to see. Sending so much love ! 🤗

Shaye, you’re voice is coming along quite nicely, I noticed you do sound less strained when you spoke up towards the end, like in singing remember to use that diaphragm. You seem happy, and that is what we all want for you, it’s all good. Oh and yes, everyone would be lucky to have an Amanda, she is a force! Thanks for the update!💕👍

So happy to see this video. As I know little about the recovery from this surgery, I didn't know if I should be concerned by Shaye's silence at this point. As someone with training in neuroscience, the conversation about the brain-vocal cord connection was fascinating. I should have known that, but guess I never thought about it. Two such beautiful women in one house!!! It was also really nice to hear Shaye speak about Amanda's strengths and work, as much of the videos focus on issues around Shaye's transition. Lots of love to you both.

Shaye, you have an advantage for this vocal process in your musicality! I kind of went through a similar process from "back of throat" when I started opera; my native language is spoken quite far back and it was HARD to bring the voice forward. For me it was also a question of daring to be seen and heard, it was such a psychological process too. My go to trick to "reset" was to vocalize on "nnn" while blocking one nostril at a time, got me right up in the sinuses. 😅 I wish you the best of luck on your journey, love following along!

It reminds me of learning to sing and control different parts of your throat, feeling it in different parts of your body, controlling things you didn’t know you could control, or that they even existed… so fascinating, that last psychological part! Love it and love your journey 🫶🏻 you two are so so lovely!

Hi Amanda and Shaye. I hadn't watched one of your videos I guess since the last vocal surgery one. Shaye, I don't know if I missed it but your face structure etc. is looking super feminine. You look stunning and I don't make nice. I tell the truth. Yeah yeah we already knew Amanda is awesome and pretty. But this is your turn to shine. Altho, you could not have picked a better spouse. The voice will come. Just like all these other changes. You are an awesome role model for my trans daughter! Thank you for having the courage to become you. ❤❤❤

Hi, I'm normally a silent watcher, but I just wanted to say how much I love how you two are including us in this journey. I myself am not part of the LGBTQA+ community, but I do have many loved ones who are a part of the community, so I try to learn as much as possible to be a better friend. Watching Shaye's transformation has been so beautiful. I can see how her confidence has grown so much since the beginning of her transition. Seeing Amanda be so supportive has helped me to be a better support system for my loved ones. Amanda and Shaye both embody what love is. Thank you to you both! As a side note, I'd love to hear both of your thoughts on J.K. Rowling, since I know your family are very connected with the series. I have found it very difficult to support someone who is so openly transphobic, but I also grew up loving the series, so I love hearing different LGBTQA+ members' thoughts.

The more I look at the two of you, who are two beautiful women, the more you remind me of Mira Sorvino and Lauren Graham. Has anyone told you that before? Anyway, thanks for sharing your lives and transition (both, since one can’t transition without the other) with all of us. It takes guts and you have that and so much more. Cheers and I hope you continue to have a speedy recovery!
