How do you get the ash of war to actually penetrate the enemy? I've tried it about 50 times, and it never penetrates. Does it only work in PvP? I've only experimented in PvE so far.

Yeah pvp only

It only works on certain enemy types, generally short enemies. For example npc’s, like invaders, soldiers, etc. That’s why it is good in pvp, but not really in pve

​@@aydenfransen9515looks pretty good on pve too. Good for crowd control and the ash of war does good dmg on bosses You need to make sure you use the ash of war only when there is a big enough opening in boss fights tho, but if you land it, it packs a big punch

I just got this weapon and the ash of war only hits the ground but doesn't do the spiky aoe attack after, am i doing something wrong?

You need to hit the button again after the first attack to do the follow up aoe attack, but let me know if that's still not working and I'll see if I can help further

This wrapon is broken in pvp
