Wanting the Sensei Jr as my next Reverend. Ever since I got the OG double agent in Mulberry, i sold my 97 Les paul. There was no comparison. From the feel, tone options, weight, look and tuning stability, the Reverend outclassed the LP. Great review on your end, got a nice full sound out of it. Cheers

Thanks for coming by, David. I am almost at a point where I could sell most of my Strats & Teles & go straight Reverend. Love the Jr.

Great video my friend, nice guitar with a tune-o-matic bridge. Not too much a fan on some of those locking tuners because they can be a pain in the ass when you brake a string & have to replace it fast!!! However, those locking tuners are not too bad, I have those on my Gibson LP & custome made Camelot guitar. I also agree 100% when buying a guitar, you shouldn't have to do any major work on it if it's new!!! Thanks for sharing, stay safe my friend, Rock On & God Bless!!!
@greatvanzini4 жыл бұрын
Dave!!! Thank you so much. I just saw you have a new vid out. Haven't seen it yet. If it is as good as the others I am in for a treat! Ahh,,, tune-o-matic it is! Locking Tuna's! Really. I have a Fender with them I think it was pretty easy. Other than that I think all of mine are these Reverend Pin o Matics or whatever, they're pretty easy & quick. You & yours stay safe out there too.

Fabulous sounding guitar GreatVanzinni. Mellow and gorgeous, a bit like your playing. Those corporate types with their copyright claims - it never goes to the artist anyway, and is slowly throttling new music as an industry viable activity. It is good that music has never been a business, it has always been a calling, the business intrusion is a modern idea, it'll never last!!!! :--))

Oh thank you, Ian. Coming from you that means a lot to me. Love your vids. Well I am emailing Boss hoping they might be interested, It is their backing tracks.

@@greatvanzini Good luck with Boss, they should snatch it right out of you hands, that would be the way it would go, if they had as much taste as business acumen!

Nice guitar. I'm finding I like P90's a lot these days. In my younger years I gravitated towards humbuckers but I'm enjoying single coils more and more these days.

Came across your channel. I have two of your guitars: the surf pearl strat and the reverend sensei jr. Great playing!
@greatvanzini3 жыл бұрын
Cool, thanks for the compliment & for coming by, Kurt. I love both of those. The Sensei jr. is the best LP Jr. at that price imo.
@blkjakk4 жыл бұрын
Sweeeeet Sensei. Sounds soulful. Nice playing too. 👍🏻 I love locking tuners. The only people that don’t like the don’t know how position the peg hole to face the nut where the string will go straight through the hole! I put locking tuners on 99% of my guitars & sell the regular tuners on eBay! .
@greatvanzini4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Blkjakk. Good little LP DC Jr,,, ish. Yeah, locking tuna's are the only way to go, IMO. All Revs have them. Wow on all your guits. Any recommendation brand wise? p.s. loved your "Where's my Feet!"

Subscribed to your channel to hear about the Reverends. Looking for a used one myself, I like a lot of the models. Can't seem to find any of those $500 ones with a case from GC though.
@greatvanzini4 жыл бұрын
Nor can I, FM! Not recently. Reverends had poor resale but I think they have finally caught on. I always wondered if the ClubKing I got from GC was a goof up on their part. Even the ones I got new are higher priced now. There is a used Reverend Jetstream / Warmoth Neck??? on Reverb for 500. Not one I am craving as it has been messed with.

Just bought one after watching your video. Nice clean tones. Most videos turn up the distortion (I like distortion--don't get me wrong) but I always want to hear the clean tones to hear the range of the guitar.

Nice Guitar. I also need a P90 guitar one day. This might be an interesting choice. By the way, I have an argument for none locking tuner, but it's a very specific one. You can make them lighter which helps on neck heavy guitars like SGs. Most are not though. Did you look up the Chris Broderick Pick Clip yet? I got mine today. I really like it so far, even though I still need to get used to it.
@greatvanzini4 жыл бұрын
Hadn't thought of that but yes that certainly could be an issue with neck heavy guits. Yeah, I'm loving P90s more all the time. I did look it up & it looked good, $16 Though!!! My thumb pick glue system (LOL) works pretty good & is cheap too. Appreciate the watch, Martin.
@martinlmguitarcorner4 жыл бұрын
@@greatvanzini But it's reusable, built out of titanium and thus meant to last. So I think the price is justified. If you want I can show it to you on a stream.
