Greddy Supreme SP exhaust problems on my 10th gen civic

For those that come across this, I just put the greddy supreme sp exhaust on my type r today. There was an exhaust leak from the mid pipe connection. Put an extra gasket on and it sealed it right up… no more leak. Sounds absolutely phenomenal and in one day I’ve gotten multiple compliments from people on the sound. I did not want a tin can, high pitch sound so it took me a while to make a decision on what exhaust to use. My other type r friends got HKS, MaPerformance. I was indifferent about the dual tips, but let me tell you all, it looks absolutely fantastic and the type r friends were super impressed by the sound. Had this problem with my old GReddy setup. Mine would do it when it was rainy out. Think the pipes move every once in awhile. I through many gaskets at it thinking it was a leak. Never found out the issue really.

I unbolted the whole exhaust and put the gaskets better aligned and tightened them good and so far I dont hear it anymore.

Ive had mine for about 6 months or so. Wish it was a little bit louder. The middle gasket looks like its hanging out..it doesn't look like it's seated properly. IM Guessing you have a check engine light on?

If u get a down pipe then it'll be much louder. Ill have to check that about the gasket and no I dont have a check engine light. I just hear the noise sometimes.

@@MoisesEmpire I would think an exhaust leak can trigger a check engine light.. what kind of noise are u hearing?

Are u sure because there's no sensors so how would car know that there is a leak? I hear light a flapping/spitting sound like air escaping.

@@MoisesEmpire is it loud enough to hear on video? I would think u could smell an exhaust leak too. Any loss of power or vibration at all?

Hey man. How’s the greddy exhaust now? Im planning to get one soon and take it to the shop to get it installed. Are you still having problems with it?

Its good man I just had a bad gasket so air was coming out and made it sound bad. Just replaced the gasket for like $12 and its perfect now.

Yeah I had that issue when I got mine also. Ended up having to wait 2 months for it to arrive. Try to google it and usually there on the search results you can see if it's in stock or not.

I'm thinking of buying this exhaust, is there drone with it at high rpm or 2k ram?

No drone unless u have catless down pipe. But even then its not much drone. I love the sound.

Where the muffler meets the rear pipe you see black marks that is your leak point

I dont think its that because Ive had the exhaust on the car for almost 2 years now and it just recently started making the noise.
