I just finished reading “The History of the Peloponnesian War” by Thucydides. I could imagine this is the ambience that would have followed such a traumatic event for Greece. For shadowing the future of Greece of being subjugated…

You should listen to the podcast episode called ‘Thucydides, Nietzsche and Plutarch’ in the podcast ‘Athens corner’. It absolutely blew me away when I listened to it, highly recommend.
