More than 50 wildfires are burning across Greece as the worst heatwave in more than 30 years has hit the country. I am from North Evoia of Greece. 5 days the fire is unstoppable. The airplanes come ONLY today. The people of the villages try to stop the fire themselfs and scream for help but nothing came. 300 and up houses are down, animals, all the north evoia is destroyed and our big forest, nothing left.. People who work to the forests, with animals or trees dont have work anymore or houses. The government left us with nothing once again. And now the future is black. The place we grow up, our nature, our animals are dead. North Evoia was a real natural treasure for all of us. Now, nothing left.

This is the war, war against fossil fuel companies, industrial farming, tech companies and their data centers. Make no mistake, this is how the war looks in the 21st century. While it is business as usually for likes of Amazon and Facebook, thousands upon thousands lose everything. As more and more forest and land burns, more and more CO2 goes into the atmosphere only speeding the change of the climate. We are on the cusp of mass migrations, hunger and conflicts. Our children will be the ones that pay the price for all this.
