Played well you said? Just park the bus after scored 1 goal then sit at the back for the rest of the match. Mostly their goals came from corner kick.

​@freddykennedy8992 They played defensive football because they knew going all out attack they would loose,they had great players but not world class names,so that was the right strategy. Italy Goldens era played park the bus too? No they just had a more defensive mentality,if this style of old school playing doesn't attract you it's your problem. By going in stats you would see that in all games Greece and the opposition had the same Xgoals +they scored in all of their matches And you are wilding saying "most of their goals came from corner "only 2 goals was scored from corner, in semifinals and the final And if they "scored 1 goal and sit back"why they were ahead of Portugal 0-2 in the premiere?...well you also need some luck in order to become champion right? YOU RIGHT NOW:😢😢😢 Pain probably made you have some memory blank or something that you hate a nation without even stating facts,just stating your illusions. By "luck" they won Portugal twice,France Czech Republic,drawed Spain too. Greece won the whole thing fair and square and they are written to the history books like it or not

In 2003 Greek League reached 3rd place ,most of the players were on AEK and Panathinaikos ,who reached the Champions League semifinals 3)the team was already old,a lot of players retired from the national team after the Euro,but the next gen qualified for euro 2008,world cup 2010,euro 2012,world cup 2014

France b2b world cup final also need luck? Then you are better go & do research before comment, AEK athens & panathinaikos didn’t qualify to Semifinal Champions League 2003. They only play in second class euro club competition even they didn’t qualify to semi final at that time. Tell me when the last time greek teams qualified to semi final or final champions league. Creo q esta es la derrota mas dolorosa q sufrio Cristiano perder y perder 2 veces con el mismo rival y de local en un torneo como lo es la Euro siento q es algo a deber siempre en la vida hay derrotas q las recuerdas para toda la vida como.Brasil el 50 y el 2014 Holanda el 74 etc donde sientes q pudiste haberlo ganado y no se te dio en cierto momento dijo Ronaldo q esa derrota y ante su gente de anfitrion y 2 veces en una Euro y en la final te apena te marca aunque el logro despues llenarse de triunfos pero con Portugal esa es para el la peor derrota q quisiera volver a revivir ese partido para poderlo ganar pero no se pudo 🙆‍♀️
