@giannisvellichor56323 жыл бұрын
@Αίθρα M there is his sugnature and his writting style that proofs the authenticity ... noone claimes that this letter is fake .... moreover he fought with the communist organizations like EPON and he fought in the "December events" which is a series of clashes fought during World War II in Athens from 3 December 1944 to 11 January 1945. The conflict was the culmination of months of tension between the communist EAM, some parts of its military wing, the ELAS stationed in Athens, the KKE and the OPLA from one side and from the other side, the Greek Government , some parts of the Hellenic Royal Army, the Hellenic Gendarmerie, the Cities Police, the far-right Organization X, among others and also the British Army. The list of his communist actions is too long , but in his whole life he followed some other road ,as well. This is why he wanted to clarify in his last letter his finale thoughts and political views !!!!

Jazeera seems nothing more than the NYT written with Arabic script: Your greecian poly sci student from London is somewhat of an nobody pulled off the park bench. Without knowledge of either music or poetry, his interview is a tale told by an idiot. The creator of Entekno was Theo's precursor, Hadjadakis. His was a synthesis of folk bizouki with symphonics plus great poetry. Arguably, Theo carried Hadji's invention to higher levels. His ear for symphonics was that of a genius, and he likewsie understood the great poetry which he was using: Ritsos, Anagnostakis, Elytis, Sikelianos, Seferis... So here you can say that Theo's contribution to Greek Culture was his rendering of poetics into melody. To this end, even today you say that there are two ways of translating the Modern Greek: as sung by Theo's music or...literal! Lastly. it's to be mentioned the great extent that Theo's music inspired resistance to the fascist junta of 67 to 73. This--far more than party memberships-- is his legacy to Greece. The junta collapsed because each and every decent, thinking Greek--regardless of alignment-- grasped Theo's message of Elutheria. Or rather, do you arabic people constantly need Juila Boutros to remind you of that?
