17:12 I really like that conversation bc it shows Gon being stubborn on things he believes in but he lacks knowledge/experience... he could easily get angry right away hearing Killua's statement but he's willing to accept an explanation and Killua saying "You're right killing is wrong" (and with that tone it makes me soft) is a huge development...he's willing to be good, he's not an assassin anymore, but also knows that nothing is white or black so he's helping Gon accepting how grey reality is through dialogue... I love their friendship and this kind of moment is even more meaningful in the next arcs ....there is always a moment when a relationship is put through the test and it's interesting to see how both sides are overcoming it

Just to summarize because all this flew right over my head when I first read it: - Like every other card, spells have a turn-limit, making them a finite ressource. - Since spells are used often, this turn-limit is usually never an issue. - This group plans on hoarding all spell-cards so that they become unobtainable to other players, creating a monopoly (like 30times the leave-card). - Since spells can only be countered by other spells, this makes everyone vulnerable to having their cards stolen. In short, they collect every spell and then steal the cards Nr. 0-99 from other players.

Carlson is how Lindsay explained, the transformation limit is how many of x object can be transformed into a card at the same time. Her examples of a 1000s rocks was very apt. Now, you can transform an object into a card only the once by saying "Transform". You can make that card into the same object again saying "Gain" but you cannot transform it back into a card again. So Lindsay BigBrain got it right from the get go. Your ADHD played you tricks man and I can emphatize about that lol

I love and appreciate their efforts to analyze every detail like the cards they read their purposes and yeah i just appreciate those things since other reaction about hxh is just like literally only a reaction like "woah, okay, that's badass, etc." then done not even try to understand the nen system. one thing about bold cast reactors is that the guy who watched it before can point out details in this anime that are usually get passed by by those reactors first time watching hxh and yeah those little details are not just important but are so cool when you realize it, in the other side lindsay is such a bright woman she says and point out things that made sense that even i who watched it a couple of times can say "aaah yeah right👍" anyways love your discussion and analysis more than any other reaction channel ❤

hope you guys are doing ok now!! love the videos! by the way, when the arc is over, i think you should show Lindsey all 100 special slot cards. there's a page for them on the fandom wiki. i think it'd make a fun little think in the 'arc review' at the end of Green Island to show her, since you don't see all of their descriptions in the anime. also, Killua talking about his love for Gon makes me tear up every time i watch this episode lol.

Watched the rest of the show while you guys were on break, hot damn it still holds up, tears and everything like the first viewing. I got a question tho, for the next arc is it gonna be tricky making reactions because it’s a very dense arc or are you gonna go about it like a regular arc. it really helps when you binge it so that nothing gets lost in the mayhem.

1st: you cannot remove nen from people because you need a powerfull nen to obtain the card 2nd:the game need to be really difficult, it's a condition to make it work, remember there's a big reward upon completition, the reward is only possible because the condition to obtain it is extremly high(clearing an extremly difficult game where you can die) 3rd:card conversion limit is really what make the game twisted and if your goal wasn't to have people killing each other, you shouldn't had put card conversion limit, but again, that's a condition to make the card work, the lower the conversion limit is, the stronger the card is allowed to be, so it's fair to assume, they knew it would turn that way, but they did it anyway, because that was necessary.
