Right?! All of the other mobile games I've played that implement such a drastic change at least have the decency to post a dev note or notice a couple weeks in advance. NM was sneaky as hell with this. They cut the livestream short, tampered with the star agent apk to try to force them to showcase it, and then gave us radio silence until the last possible moment. That's just messed up.

Totally agree, I was expecting an apology or at least an explanation but their half arse attempt to lure players into accepting the card system is all that we got. Once it goes live, I'm afraid this system will stay. For sure there will be someone who will reforge CTPs and upgrade their cards, what then? Don't think they can just roll back everything later on. Netmarble is making an enormous mistake. We tried to save them from themselves. This update will kill the game. You can't put this kind of power spike and pay to win jump in a relatively stable 5 year old game, the players recognize this and tried to stop it. Now we have to face facts, this is a short term cash grab that will kill the game. In my opinion they're just trying to squeeze every last dollar before their new game Marvel Revolution comes out and they pull the plug on MFF. I'll never spend on this game again, I lived through this death spiral once before with Marvel Avengers Alliance. It's kind of heartbreaking, I love this game but you can’t throw good money after bad.

I left the game several months ago, (just after getting those cyclops icons etc) with a full inventory of expensive items, VIP 11 and I don't regret it. Saw those patch notes and decided I'm uninstalling once the update goes live. As a reward to myself I just went all out finishing my Ghost Rider. All the way up to T3 from 60. Maxed out ISO-8 and a bunch of Odin's blessings. Hopefully they fix this crap so I can actually come back to the game one day and use him.

I don't know if it's just me being not a noob per se but only playing for a couple of years but to me this system all that different than the stones for the abilities. Now I agree that instead of using other premium cards and ctps to upgrade you should just use mythic obelisks and six star cards but other than that it just seems like the next step to me. But if I were to be completely honest I don't think we should have cards that upgrade our characters it should make them more like the uniforms where you level them up to six a little easier and you get crystals for that. So for me if they got rid of comic cards all together me personally I'd be fine and get rid of these cores for the CTP reforge. But if all else fails we should have two comic card lineups and stuff like that so people aren't continuing to take off and replace
