Been hearing more and more people visiting Cuba and I have to say I can see why. Water looks beautiful. Hoping it can continue to grow tourist wise

The beaches are nice but the food isn't very good. The rooms are also bad too. I don't think I'll go back for a very long time. But I wanted to give it another chance. So many beautiful beaches in the tropics. The USA embargo is hurting Cuba trade.

Just visited Cayo Santo Maria Apr 2019. I found the food the same, except for the fish and fruits and veggies. were good. so i ate that all week. Also beans! Breakfast always go early and eat the omlettes. i also brought my own oatmeal packets to enjoy at breakfast. We stayed at Grand Memories right beside the shopping plaza you visited.

I can't wait for the rest of your video reviews on this resort. I'm thinking of visiting in June. Been to Cayo Santa Maria before and Know about the food not being great. I found that if you stick to the Chicken and Pork you should be okay.

Thanks for watching. Yes the food is not good. I'll never come back to santa Maria ever. It's dead zone. We love to tour and go places off resort and check things out. This place has nothing. It's a complete tourist trap. I don't know why ppl keep going back. It's also a 2 hr bus ride to the resort which really sucks. You'll see in my reviews. As you can see we still had a blast and have fun in every situation.

Just coming back from this resort, was amazing ! Staff was really nice ! Food... well its cuba.... hahaha Had a wobderfull time there

Wow haven't been back since the other new resort paradisus was built. The second beach use to be a virgin beach and outstanding

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.

I have a question. Did the Resort not offer money exchange? Last time I visited the Hotel offered canadian exchange to Cuban Pesos at a reasonable exchange rate.

Yes they do but we figured we'd exchange at the banco thinking the exchange is better. It's not. It was 1.39 plus they charge $2. It's more than converting to USd. The resort is always busy too but the lines were hit and miss. We didn't get a chance to see the exchange at airport.
