Okay kratos is fighting full at strength with a centaur and having a hard time even keeping them down especailly the sizes of beast greek has. its n doubt they"re the strongest. The huntress in norse would wet themselves seeing those beastly men. Greek is a survival of the fittest when shit with crazy and kratos showed he can survive. Norse is literally just a warm up and just him learning to keep calm and accept his past he's reached it. I havent seen not one thing in norse strong as things in greek. they are lucky only 1 greek god came AND actaullly a good person.

Eh not really. Kratos stated Thor’s blows are as heavy as any he has felt meaning he hits as hard as the strongest gods he’s fought in Greece and he called Tyr one of the strongest gods he’s ever faced. Even by feats well Odin created 7 realms which are basically infinitely layered universes from Ymir’s body. Thor splintered Yggdrasil a concert beyond space and time that holds these infinitely layered realms and hit the World Serpent back in time. Garm ate metaphysical concepts like a season and a word and could tear the fabric of the realms. Surtr created all the stars in the infinitely layered realms. Ragnarok one shot an infinite universe. Perhaps the norse aren’t as strong as Zeus but guys like Poseidon and Hades they definitely are

@@sethyork1164 well he is holding back. Ragnorok showed after falling from far heights in the dwarvs trolly and fell on the giant and he solod it without BOY. Whenever he has someone with him thats him holding back. He always shows a bit of his bit power but only for real reasons or in stun animations. if he wasnt i mean it wouldnt be a challenge or fun. He punched thor and gave him that ghost of sparta punch, even broke a tooth. Hes just a man who wants to change from doing that. He only used that much strength in the past because he seeked vengeance literally the point of his character change. Remember he said bring back my son or you will see the old god of war. its a choice.

Honestly would have loved for more unique old enemies like the Satyrs just to make new fan shit themselves or the Gorgon have to continue to move around and trying to get turned to stone would be awesome. The Gorgon is a Gow classic the enemy is literally as popular as the minotaur missed chance to have it.

People grossly underestimate the time it takes to make extraneous content, it can take *months* of work if you don't already have a supporting core system (and they only had a year worth of production). Considering they had to largely rely on already existing animation skeletons for the Greek enemies, I highly doubt they had the budget for entirely new enemies. In a dev interview, one of the Valhalla directors spoke about Harpies being challenging to add because they didn't have a Ragnarok flying enemy equivalent (Nightmares don't behave similarly), so that had to be largely done from scratch.

We need a complete remake, enemies are kind of like reskins, but still made properly and well. Most of them have the same or a slightly new-ish moveset. Siren = revenant Centaurs = Stalkers/Hunters Cyclops = Ogre Minotaur = Grim mother Wraith = Light elf Legionnaire captain = einherjar brute Undead Lebionnaire = Grims/draugr Harpie = Nightmares

I assume they had to rely on (mostly) existing assets given they only had a year worth of production for Valhalla (and completely new content can easily take *months* of work). Harpies are a funny exception because they don't behave similar to Nightmares at all, so the devs actually needed to do them from scratch (mentioned in a dev interview).

Some of your examples are wrong. The siren is a new model and Legionnaire captain is not similar in any way to einherjar captain. Also harpies are much different from nightmares. Undead legionnaires only inherited their idol animations from draugrs

@@alimhm7341 I actually only got 1 wrong since it’s the einharjar brute not captain. The siren IS built off the revenant model you forget her scream is similar to the ice revenants Atreus has to fight in his missions. Harpies again have a couple of moves similar to nightmares(like dodging, and when they physically attack you, the slam is unique to them only though), but they aren’t the exact same and i mentioned that. The undead legionnaire yes have idle animations from draugr yes, but their spin attack is not from any draugr that I’ve seen it’s from a grim. The sword gameplay is the only thing that makes them draugr-ish.

What terrified me during first encounter of Siren in Valhalla was not the voice, but its a Siren based of GoW Ascension which is the the worst and most difficult Sirens of all series. Thankfully its only the appearance though.

In my opinion i prefer the ragnarok animations becuz its less timing. If you are in a hurry, a quick finisher is always better. He does not botter to massacre all of the enemies. Still he does brutal finishers anyway. The old game is good as well. Some people just dont want to understand that this is a different game with modern technology and a more mature protagonist. Absolutely love the games even my phonecase is gow ragnarok.

all these greek monsters are just model swaps of the monsters already in GOW Ragnarok. i think sirens are the only enemy with unique AI. it probably would've looked too awkward to model swap male centaurs onto the female huntress' body, so they opted instead to have centaurs just be female
